Tefillin are a set of small black leather boxes containing scrolls of parchment inscribed with verses from the Torah. They are worn by male observant Jews during weekday morning prayers.
Seen here at the Western (or Wailing) Wall on one of my early morning trips through the old city of Jerusalem.
I always wondered why women don't wear them. Anyone know much about it?
Congratulations on the new album #SDMSounds + #SDMFeatures @lecrae //// @fabruiz
