This little monkey pulled every item out of every drawer and cupboard this am while I was feeding the littlest one....then he tasted everything. I literally chased him around while nursing a newborn in an attempt to limit "sampling". Oh toddlers....the newborn seems so easy right now. 🙈 And.....hello coffee number two, get me through. 😉
Hudson is wearing our Lapin romper in mint. 🐰
Ok, while I am NOT a fan of toddlers and screen time, I just had to get this shot. Here’s the back story: on Thanksgiving, my nieces and nephews were playing video games after the family dinner...well, when they all suddenly left the room to fill out their Christmas Wish Lists, they left the littlest guy all to himself. Well, you would have thought that he was just waiting around for a moment like this!! For an almost-two-year-old, this was a golden opportunity...he quickly grabbed the remotes, climbed on top of the couch, and started “playing” like the big kids. The look on his face is priceless! #imabigkidnow
This cutie just took a bite outta code IGGLES and couldn’t be happier with his new Teething Lovie!

Went to TJ’s today to stock up on frozen latkes and sold out 🙄. 8 days until 8 nights kick off and less than 8 bibs available 😉
So he got a lot of shots, and said he didn’t want to go to school just wanted to go home and relax because his arms hurt. Get here and he’s in full play mode. Jokes’ on me.
How timely that the headshots from @hailey_photography came in as we were sitting at the doctors office, and she captured every one of this character’s moods 🤪
Sometimes it’s nice to be chauffeured around by your big sis
because I just had my 4yo shots and ouch.
And she shall be named....

And she shall be ready to ship.
Meet Brandi. Self-proclaimed Buddha Babe addict and best customer-turned-friend-turned-temp ever. I’ve been dressing her kids for 3 years+, we’ve shared holidays and birthdays and secrets, and her kids are at the top of Baron’s favorite people list (which is small, I might add 🙄). Most importantly, she’s the one who told me that mamas can totally rock the Toddler Scarves, it’s a little hug for your neck when you don’t want to deal with the bulk but still want to be warm. Sure, the Mama Scarves a great, but sharing is caring and how often do we get to steal things from our kids’ closets 🤷🏻♀️. Stop by and meet one of my favorite humans today at our pop up in Ambler next to the Theater; she is covering the day so I can get some much-needed rest and do a bunch of nothingness with my kid. Best plans ever!
Future so bright my shadow needs shades 😎
Missed the holiday order cutoff? There’s still time to pick an exclusive ready to ship option! Local guests can even order online and pick up at our pop up in Ambler (and get shipping refunded)! The last minute dash is real, folks 😬
‘Tis the season 🎁
Just three more Sunday’s 😱
Only four Universal Coverups left 😳
THE Buddha Babe. My ride or die. Where I go, he goes- and rarely complains. Hashtag Blessed.
People often ask “why a Mini Blankie?” Because coats in car seats are no bueno, and strolling thru the city wrapped in a cloud is where it’s at.
So many Ready to Ship Blankies, and only 10 days til Hanukkah. 😱
Pink Princess Quilt
Here is a quilt for the little princess in your life. The pink marble print makes an appearance in this quilt. I carried the hint of gold through out the quilt as a whole. The backing is an eye popping plus gold pattern. This style of quilt makes for a great photo back ground, those month by month photos made one step easier! Batting inside this quilt is 100% all natural cotton. By having a cotton batting it will keep your princess warm and act as a cushion for naps on the go. This quilt was hand bound all along the edges making it that more unique. Measurements on this quilt is 40”x49” this is slighter larger then a a crib quilt making is perfect toddler quilt. This style of quilt would be great to take to daycare because of the ease of washing.
Like most of our quilts this is a one of kind so grab it while you can. Washing this quilt is a breeze wash with gentle detergent and tumble dry on low. As with our quilts every time you wash it will become softer and softer.
This quilt has been washed once already giving you a head start. It was washed in TIDE All Natural Detergent and no softener or dryer sheet was used.
I can honestly proclaim 2017 as The WORST year of my life, but cheers to the last 31 days of it! Claiming JOY for 2018, and so it begins today. How can you not get insta-happy when seeing this bundle of joy in her Baby Script Blankie, sound asleep? Gahhhhhh!!!
It was all good just a few months ago..... Anyone else having flashbacks of summer? Heading to warmer climate for the Holidays? There are 3 UniRompers in stock and ready to pack. Because looking this cute and comfy on the dock is an absolute must.
Oh Ethan! You look ace in the Candy Canes! Today, I have a Christmas scented candle burning, Christmas music playing and Christmas presents wrapping! So when Ethan’s Mummy sent me this photo, my heart leaped for joy! My absolute favourite thing is receiving photos and feedback. Thank you @lushmummadesigns! (Incidentally, check out this creative woman. She’s just starting out and is making the most wonderfully beautiful prints and baby cards.) 🎄🎄🎄
[ADVICE] I get asked all the time - how much, how old, what form, when and why there is such a big hoo-har about it. Well, here is some of the latest research and some of my personal experiences and views on screen time (e.g. iPads, T.V. or YouTube for enjoyment purposes). RESEARCH has identified:
1. Toddlers exposed to more screen time are more likely to have delayed language skills.
2. Screen time can decrease the number of words in a sentence used by toddlers.
3. Literacy levels in primary school can be predicted by young toddler's oral language.
I have unfortunately seen some concerning effects of too much screen time. From little to no spoken language to delayed social skills, reduced readiness for school or unhealthy attachment to devices.
LET'S BE REALISTIC
Screens are everywhere, it is near on impossible to remove them completely from our lives. Lets be honest too, it often keeps a 2-year-old quiet for 5 minutes!
Interraction is the key! If you need to use a device, try to watch high quality and informative videos with your child, talk about what is happening and how it relates to the real world. Ask questions about what you saw and expand their understanding of it.
Don't replace any quality time you would have spent communicating with your young one and don't believe the hype about 'educational games' (they're usually not!) After all of that, in my opinion, if you need that 5 minute time out, you can use screen time as a good reward 😉 but limit use wherever possible ✔
