What a day. We adventure and wellness schooled today. His #belief in both of our abilities trumps mine daily. I #learn soooo much from him, from his spirit, and from his tenacity daily. Today he told me he wanted to go to the #tippytippytoptop of the mountain, 1.3 miles UP and 1.3 down. And it was STEEP and ROCKY. On our way up we passed countless people saying whoa little man! Are you going to the top?! Those rocks are pretty tough Mom, you should turn around. I believed them. He didn’t. I kept asking if he wanted to turn around and he said no let’s keep going. It was amazing. Then on the way back down same thing, everyone we asked asked if he went all they way to the top, no one could believe it. I carried him for about the last 1/4 mile. Mostly up hill. #iwillcarryhimforever#anytime he asks me. Then people commented on that, asking if my arms were tired. I mean I suppose but I didn’t focus on that. When you shift your focus to complete gratitude for whatever you are carrying you can do anything. I have always had a very small measure of faith in all the things, but he shows me daily I can do and be whatever I want. The sky isn’t even the limit 😉 my forever teacher. My mini guru. .

It’s his life goal to get his feet in every picture I take. Oh well...all I cared about was digging in. I could literally eat this every single day. Bed of spinach, loads of veggies, warm quinoa and hummus. Yum.
Postpartum Bod Update:
7 Months out
I am still working on rebuilding muscle, and my skin needs time to tighten back up. But, so far, it's been an awesome journey that we've done as a family! #momswholift#yogamom#eatforabs
Grasping onto summer flavors for as long as I can 😂 Fresh haddock 🐟 from @groomerseafood and the cutest teensy tiny tomatoes 🍅 from @wholefoods mixed with peaches, cilantro, red onion and lime all on a corn tostada with sprouts. 💁🏼 Don’t forget the avocado 🥑
Just a bit of a bump date, a little delayed- as usual but here's to the halfway mark! Can't believe we're already half way to meeting our little man! I haven't been working out like I was in the beginning but still pretty active. 8lbs in and Squish is measuring about a week ahead so I'm sure that number will increase within the next few weeks. 😉 Been a little on the dehydrated side the past few weeks and extremely exhausted but starting to feel pretty good again.
2 things I wanna say
1. I was switching so many weights off the bar bell today I got a workout just doing that alone!
2. Was also getting frustrated because I had to pause the DVD just to get that darn clip off!! 😠😡😭
Other than that, it was a good workout. 😀😉
