All but one person does the same intensity and it is doable for everyone! The workouts are 30 minutes and they are fun!

As moms, we worry so much about our kids. My son continues to complain about his ankle soreness from when he twisted it on Saturday, so I'm beginning to get a tad concerned. He had a double header the next day which the team needed him to play, had a football game tonight and again tomorrow. And it's the playoffs, so if you aren't puking or bleeding profusely, you play, right?
He won't get back to full strength unless he's able to rest it, which unfortunately, he can't do right now. Hoping we have a few days of rest here after tomorrow. I don't see a lot of swelling and feel confident it isn't broken. I doubt it's sprained. It's more soreness and discomfort than pain. He's playing with it wrapped and we are icing/elevating a few times a day. Any other advice, sport moms or dads and runners?
Facebooks ‘on this day’ is a glorious thing
Not only does it bring up wonderful memories of cute things my boys have done but it’s proof of my transformation.
Outer transformations are easier to see but the longer I’ve been on this journey the less of a focus it becomes for me. How I’m changing as a person is what really matters to me.
Allow me to explain. So this time last year I posted about my boys being sick and how hard it had been. I vividly remember that struggle I went through during that time.
I LOVE sleep and I require a large amount to be a decent human being. When I’m tired I’ve been known to be a little dramatic and definitely more emotional than I already am 🙈 my poor husband 😆
Having this post pop up in my news feed brought back all the feelings of being alone and frustrated that my kids were sick and my prayers weren’t being answered to make my difficult situation easier.
Fast forward to today. Milo has been running a low grade fever off and on since Saturday night and has NOT been sleeping well and so I see myself in a very similar situation that I was in a year ago.
But I am handling it so VERY differently. It’s like night and day. Am I still tired, you betcha! But I've noticed this time around I've handled my lack of sleep with more patience than I have in the past. I know my job, my PD and the time I’ve spent working on myself have really helped me to handle stress and change in life in a more reasonable way.
I don't react as quickly or angrily, but think things through more and it’s been a good eye opener to me to see how I've changed and grown. This health and fitness journey for me has been WAY more than just about losing weight and getting fit. It's truly transforming me from the inside out.
I know my progress isn’t as quick as others, but this was proof that I needed that I AM changing, I AM making progress. And hello, progress is progress no matter how fast or slow right??
Oh, and also, what are your favorite fever remedies? He seems to be on the mend today but I’d like more ideas for the future.
And fingers crossed for a good nights sleep.

✨ Always make time for things that make you feel happy to be alive. 🙌🏼❤️✨ Feeling wild and FREE with a 4️⃣ miler earlier today. Turns out I would need it with a challenging afternoon with my son. Some afternoons are tough with our kids. They know how to push our buttons and of course, they don't always do what we ask of them. I was reaaaaally glad I took that time for myself to de-compress.
Thankful for the run, for making me a tiny bit more patient today. It can be the best escape, where you get lost in your thoughts, dreams and hopes. I needed it.
And time for some shut eye bc I have 8️⃣ on the schedule for tomorrow! 🙌🏼
Tips on making your TO DO list!
I do a brain dump in the evening and write down everything I want to do the next day. It helps me to sleep when what is swirling in my head is on the page instead.
After I've written it all down I put numbers beside each task to help me determine what I should do next, no aimless wandering! Sometimes things happen out of order and I just go with it.
Start with the basics - laundry, good food, rest, fitness.
Add in small bite-size pieces of your great big goals. (For me that's 30 minutes of exercise, it might be something like study for 10 minutes, work on a project, etc).
Keep it simple.

You guys. My youngest turned 3 today!! He’s been ready for his birthday for months now. 😂😂 He is definitely the boss in the house. He takes care of his big brother in ways I never thought a 3-year-old could. He’s silly (as evidenced by his purposefully speaking gibberish in my Instagram Story) and he has the comedic timing of a stand up comic. I love this little boy with all of my heart. .
Sooooooo thankful for these 2...they're always there, no matter what! And keep Squish when Kennedy has an event or get together with our homeschool group so I can give her 100% & have that time with her!! They're the most selfless, caring, loving, loyal, kind, honest, and humble human beings to walk this earth!!! ❤️ and Parker was oh so happy to ride the golf cart by himself with Mimi & Papa!!!! My heart is full, my cup runs over!!!!

Today I stepped out of my comfort zone — was insanely sweaty so yeah, decided to just go for it! Why not, right?!🤷🏻♀️ I used to be the girl that swam in a pool with a T-shirt on, wouldn’t take my coat off, hid always! — Now 2 kids later, DR, stomach issues I battle daily - - - I’m just owning who I am, showing myself grace and proud of what I’ve accomplished.✨
I work on myself for me, my family & to motivate, inspire other woman around me to see their worth! .
It’s NOT selfish to work on YOU – really! It’s actually pretty great!💕 .
