NSV's are so much better than ANY scale!
I haven't worn a belt in forever.  I haven't had to.  Today I had no choice but to breakdown in Krogers and buy a belt.  If I didn't I feared that I may be standing in the frozen aisle and my jeans would end up at my ankles.  Trust you it wouldn't be pretty.  I also cannot tell you how long it's been since I was okay with taking a picture in the mirror solely focusing on my lower half.  It's the little things.  We should focus on those because they add up to big things!

Once you know how to get to those abs that are disconnected during pregnancy your able to STRENGTHEN them so you can connect each layer of your core and get your tummy tight, toned, and most important... functional! β€’

Until you have a good handle on your deep core muscles, impact can cause some major issues. Imagine your hands are your insides... clapping your hands together can cause some squishing of things... just like clapping does to your hands. β€’
 Usually during high impact your breath quickens and causes incorrect inflating and engagement of your belly which can cause more separation, bloating, and lots of other uncomfy problems πŸ’πŸ’©πŸ€’ β€’

We rely on our core a lot. Truly... everything from balance, to posture, to moving from laying to sitting up. We may think our every day activities are totally harmless but the truth is that you only workout for maybe 10% of your day. The other 90% you have to cue your body to move correctly and also keep it safe. It's up to us to educate ourselves! β€’
Next time you get up from laying instead of going straight up (a lot of times seeing a cone shape on your stomach 😰) try these steps:

roll to your side and prop yourself up with your arm. Extend your arm so your side is off the ground, and flip your legs under. Not only did you keep your sensitive muscles safe but if you use the correct breathing and abdominal pulling like we use in #corefourthtrimester you have actually turned an every day move into a workout that will benefit your entire core! β€’

These last two weeks have been a struggle! Week before last, I did 21dfx, which I had no idea was an advanced workout program... So I about died that week. Lol and then last week I tried piyo.... Which just isn't for me.... So this week, I'm doing 22 min hard corps.... Today was day 1 and I loved it!!! Such a good workout! I had sweat pouring off me! Glad I found a program that is gonna be a good fit after doing my three rounds of 21df. :D

OMG! So so so good! I finally got Beachbody on demand the other day and tonight I made the #onthegosalad with the #pineapplechickenskewers and the #asianvinaigrette everything was absolutely delicious! Prob my favorite salad I've ever had. @bobbycalabrese11 you know how to whip up some delicious and healthy meals! I've also made the #zucchinibread and #peanuttypeanutbuttersquares and they both are amazing! So grateful for you AND @autumncalabrese !!! Life changers!

There are 1440 minutes in the day total, 10 are spent doing core training (usually!) The other 1430 are spent living that mom life, working, dishes, etc...
