The journey isn’t always glamorous. Getting up at 5:35am is still hard. My hair is always a mess and I’m usually in need of a good shower 😂 so why do I keep doing it?! Because the boost in confidence and strength I feel is amazing. That feeling after a hard workout is addicting. My time at the gym is my time, just for me. Change is hard and there’s going to be those nay sayers that are intimidated by your initiative and you have to ignore them and keep going. Keep pushing, dream big and don’t be afraid to try. 😘
Baby it's cold outside ❄️ Today Syracuse, New York only had a low of 14 degrees (only, right!) and I'm still freezing. Winter is far from over and I'm already sick of seeing white, everywhere! Making myself feel better with a pop of pink 👄 #brrr#winter#upstateny#upstatenewyork

Acacia is at Drama club tonight and before she left she told me to look on my bed as she had left me a 'surprise'. I actually completely forgot but just walked in to my room to find this next to my pillow.. my husband was given these seriously sour sweets as a Christmas present but I hate sour things so refuse to try them... now my 7 year old writes me a note saying I'm a 'wimp' if I don't have one! I think I've created a monster 😩🙈😂
Ha! So accurate! I’m totally learning to embrace the taste of cold food and beverages lol 👶🏼✨💕 She legit KNOWS when I’m about to eat and then suddenly decides it’s time for her to wake up! 📸: @baethelabel
So as per my Instagram story... I had a cooking related injury last night and sliced under the skin on my middle finger. I genuinely was concerned I'd have to go to A&E 😩 but I soldiered on and the blood stopped so all good... then today I've gone through about 10 plasters because they just keep coming off so I went to see the pharmacist. I did warn her that my injury was laughable and I promise I'm not over-reacting... fortunately she saw the funny side and gave me some steri-strips and this bloody glove 🙈😂 I have to wear this glove if I come in to contact with anything wet (which is 1000 times a day between washing up, washing my hands and changing / bathing the baby!). So moral of the story, I feel like a total twat and can't wait to have to wash my hands in a public loo after I put my protective glove on 😭 just call me Michael Jackson 👍🏻🤘🏻
We’re laying low today since my youngest isn’t feeling well. I’m oiling up like crazy and plan to up my greens and vitamin c today in hopes I stay healthy.
What are you doing to stay healthy during flu season?
It’s been a rougggghhhh morning at our house. Meltdowns, losing pennies from the jar, timeouts, and crying for Daddy 😩🙄 But once it all settled, I found Gray playing with his super heroes—who were doing Yoga 🤣🙏🏻 He knows we need some sun salutations in our life #Yoga#namaste#sunsalutation

A challenge group kind of sounds scary, but this sums it up in a nutshell. The only challenge you face is the one within yourself! We are connected as one by the program we choose and our struggles and strengths that help each other with their own. We form a bond of friendship that will always be strong. We find the support we may not receive otherwise.
Being a part of a challenge group is life changing in more ways than one. It shows us our strength, our weaknesses and how we are helping others without realizing. Nutrition, fitness and health are discussed, articles and recipes posted and words of encouragement for those who need. It's not just a group, it's like a family and we are lucky to be a part of all that! #encourage#lift#strength#positiveenergy#weareconnected#momsofinsta#dadsofig#groupoflove#beapartofsomethinggreat#takeachallenge

2 years ago today 1:02am a princess was born. 2 years ago today I was confused and scared and didn't know what I was doing. Today however....... I still don't know what I'm doing I just play it off better like I do lol. She's helped me become who I am today. She's taught me to be selfless and think of someone other then myself. #HappyBirthday to the most amazing little person I know. #terribletwos#throwback (4months old)
My hope with my new routine of up at 3:45, preworkout meal at 4 and working out at 5 AM that I would get some me time.
I should have known that with Warner, he would just adjust to my new schedule and wake up halfway through my workout.
I used to get frustrated about it - but something has changed and I just go with it. I stop when I need to but push play again once he’s settled. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Y’all, he’s WATCHING me every morning get up and take care of myself & make myself a priority. That makes me SO happy. I want him to know how important it is to take time to take care of yourself.
I want to make him proud. I want to make Zack proud. I want to make my team proud. I want to make the girls in my virtual gym proud & lead by example. I want to make MY coach proud.
Over time, the small decisions I’m making with this new program will add up to HUGE results - mentally, physically, and emotionally. So I’ll keep making those small, seemingly insignificant choices to get up when my alarm goes off, to workout every morning, to follow my nutrition plan and to start my day with gratitude journaling, devotion and personal growth reading.
It’s not always easy 🤦🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️🏋🏻♀️. Like today when I almost fell over doing this new move. Day 1 of 80 is in the 📚 books🙌🏻❤️🙌🏻 Instead of getting down on myself I laughed it off 🤣😂. It doesn’t have to be easy, we don’t have to strive for perfection.
Showed up today, striving for excellence. Proud to share I followed the timed nutrition plan to a T!
Must run 🏃♀️ this coach needs to check in with the fit family and see how everyone is doing ...
I just watched a show about a very large woman saying she couldnt lose weight because no one would help her! What she wanted help with was getting her fudge cake and cookies because that's what she liked, yet the doctor put her on a strict diet. They refused because they wanted to save her life. But for almost 2 hours I kept hearing her say she couldn't do it, no one cared, no one would help, etc.
Attitude is everything. The very first thing you need to do is realize you are capable of doing anything as long as YOU want it bad enough and want to work for it!! I can show you the tools we use, I can hook you up with a cheap alternative to a gym membership, meal plans and I can be your buddy to the end, but I can't make you do it, want it or know you might just need it! Life is about knowing what you need and want and how to get it!! If my friend Alicia hadn't pointed me in the right direction I don't know where we would be.
Feeling grateful for the help.. feeling blessed to know it's up to me! #dontblameothers#itsonyou#dowhatyouwanttodo#getwhatyougive#allornothing#dontrelyonothers#itsuptoyou#workforwhatyouwant#betruetoyou#momsofinsta#dadsofig#knowyoucan
I love this moment my hubby was able to catch on camera!!! It’s such a symbol of what motherhood really is all about.
As moms we pick our kids up when they fall, comfort them when they cry, and help them rise above the dreary world to become wonderful human beings and make a better world.
There are days when our work goes unnoticed, unrecognized and unappreciated. But the work we do is important and cannot be replaced by anyone else (despite what we may feel).
Motherhood is a blessing and a privilege to be treasured. Even at 4 o’clock in the morning when you’re woken from a restless sleep. But I’m no saint and being a mama is hard.
So how do you push through the hard days? How do you find joy in motherhood? I’ll be sharing my tips on the podcast this Friday, but I wanna know what you do to find joy in motherhood.
I've had a very productive day and evening. I've just finished sorting through a box of school uniform for the charity I volunteer with and now I'm planning my next big adventure 💪 it may feel like January has been going on for 10077830 days already BUT I am all over this New Year 👊🏻
I hear parents all the time say "As long as my kids are happy I'll be OK" I respectfully disagree. Yes it can be hard,Yes times can be tough BUT you deserve to be happy as well. If not we are merely showing our kids what to expect when they become adults. So the question is do you want your child to be happy or do you want the adult your child becomes to know that they are responsible for their own happiness. That it isn't based on anyone else including the children they may or may not have? #ILoveMyself
It’s payday today with Monat! On top of getting paid every Friday we also get paid on the 15th every month!
When I started with Monat my goal was to make back my investment. After that was accomplished in the first few weeks I set my goals a little higher to our credit cards. And I am getting close to having those all paid off as well. Everyone has different goals, and they will get bigger and bigger as each new goal is reached! I am excited to see where Monat can take me this year!
If you are interested in the opportunity with Monat let me know!
This month when you sign up you get almost $200 worth of additional product free!!
Heading back to NY today, but not before we pack up all our ‘go to’ travel snacks to keep the kids distracted on the plane back. Cheerios are always winner with Jordan, especially since they feel good on his gums while he’s teething (again!!). I doubt I’m the first mom to think of Cheerios as a snack, but I figured it’s always helpful to have a reminder of the snacks your kids will almost never say no to (besides cookies of course 😉😉). What are some of your no fail snacks??
Today on the birthday of Martin Luther King Jr, I teach my children both about Dr King and Mahatma Gandhi.
My children, who are both Indian and African American- come from two communities rooted with common values and common struggles. While Dr King's dream was to desegregate the South, Mahatma Gandhi first peacefully protested for social justice in South Africa against discrimination against Asians and Africans.
Through Gandhi's doctrine of Satyagraha (nonviolent resistance to evil), both leaders galvanized their nations and led them to freedom. King wrote that Gandhi’s teachings were “the guiding light of our technique of nonviolent social change.”
On both these leaders birthdays, I remind my children about both their legacies. These are two leaders who came from different countries and different religions--and yet found a common force that united them.
Every day in our home, our children see how differences and be a unifying force. And just like Dr King and Mahatma Gandhi, my hope for them is to learn from the different cultures, ways of life, religions and beliefs they see---and yet also to find the common thread of humanity that binds us all.
In this day and age, this message gained from the bond between these two leaders---is more important than ever ❤️
So today is the fist day of 80 days of specific, timed eating. I can have what I choose in my cups but can only have certain cups at certain meals. Since before Christmas I have not been paying much attention to cup counts or making the best choices. This will put it all into perspective and get me back on track because once I commit that's it.
80 days is a long commitment, hence the bug eyes, but a commitment is only worth the time it takes!! And my body, health and life are worth at least 80 days no matter what we have going on! We have a few things coming up like camping at Disney for Easter, but we have to bring food so mine will be packed special! No excuses, no failing. I'm just going to work hard at keeping my nutrition on point and trust the scientifically figured meal plan by a professional trainer! It's time to be obsessed with my health and finish this journey to maintenance once and for all!! #imreadytogo#timedeating#notperfectbutreal#bugeyesociety#lifestylenotadiet#portioncontrol#momsofinsta#instamoms#instamoods#readyforlife#bod#80dayobsession
There is an epidemic. An epidemic of divorce and marriages failing. An epidemic of giving up because it got hard, or we don't love eachother anymore.. That's bullshit.. Love is a feeling, if you had it once you can have it again. It breaks my heart to know there are woman all over the world silently crying out for help. I know that because that was me.
I am here to change the statistic of divorces. There are so many woman who desperately want their husbands to love them, to be embraced, to be held, to feel that passion they once had.
I am here to tell you that happily ever after and your fairytale love story is possible, it is SO possible.
Now, I didn't say perfect, but possible. I'm not saying it's always going to be easy or rainbows and roses. Just that you can have a loving passionate marriage. .
(Josi)
EN: How much free space and time can you ask for as a parent?
It is only now that we feel at peace here in Pai that I realized how little time I’ve had to myself in the last couple of months. I wanted for everyone to be happy and for all the things to work out perfectly (whatever that means). Now it’s time for me to step back, relax and teach Lola that me time is an everyday thing I need. Thankfully, Olaf has been nothing but supportive and helps me to find my free time and space.
