I feel like Monday is a good day to be playful with exercise. So I got in my 40 minutes, but didn't make a plan of any kind and just enjoyed the fact that I made it through Monday. I love my job, but I'm reminded lately how important it is to take time to just balance my brain with some exercise of any kind each day. It's not always pretty, but this kind of "me time" gives an instant mood lift that surfing the net or even reading in the bath (my fave) can't quite provide! Beck's latest album was also a good mood-lifter today! Disclaimer: I ate BOWLS of veggie pasta before this. *** I'd like to set myself a schedule. Maybe Mondays will be free days, Tuesdays will be for running, etc. I definitely learned tonight that I want to do more shoulder opening and work on my arm strength. I need some weights up in here!
