(Hwy 395 update) My friends if you are driving the highway 395 this evening and you have a high lifted vehicle please be aware it is very windy. Here’s a pretty picture of a semi truck blown on its side at 9 PM tonight
Hey guys after being in hiding for the last week getting 50+ hours on this game I finally came back up for air. The sequel to the surprising hit, shadow of Mordor, Shadow of war follows the same badass Talion from the first game as he seeks to reclaim his ring of power with celebrimbor and craft an army to beat Sauron. The gore and flashy executions are back with a new and improved skill tree offering a wide assortment of skills and extra perks to attach to each making everyones Talion different. Customization is back and improved as well with the ability to change your sword, bow, body armor, and even your ring of power for higher level ones as your go through the game. The biggest and most improved edition of the game is the nemesis system. Ururks are still the same as the last game they like to talk shit and some even have hype man now. Whats new is in the last game once you captured as uruk they were yours until they were killed but in this game any of your captains can turn against you even during a siege. This small addition gives the game a sense of paranoia as you never know who will betray you. I also noticed that you have more captains ambushing you and cheating death compared to the first game. The addition of fortress is a very welcome addition. Capturing your first fortress makes you feel like a badass along with hearing talion say charge as your army charges. Throughout the game though I realized defending your fortress is a lot harder than taking one as when enemies take control of your points more captains show up and you could find yourself pushed back. As for the microstransactions do not buy any you do not need them. Gear in this game is very easy to come by and captains as well. Just get good at the game as this game is a lot harder than the last. Due to the sheer numbers of just regular ururks you face but in a lot of combat situations you may face 3 to 5 captains at once and that could just be you exploring the world. Over five maps with different environments for each gives them game variety. I enjoyed this game immensely and can easily recommend a full purchase pickup.

Thunder Dome. I took this picture in a very windy London on the day of the arrival of 'ex-hurricane Ophelia'.. A strange day. Not much of a hurricane, or really even a storm - just a very deep red sky almost turning day into night. Which you can see here right? No? Oh it's there if you look closely. But here is the original Millennium Dome taken from India Quay on a 5 minute exposure. The white elephant of the year 2000, now finds success as Europes largest permanent concert arena. Better than being a white elephant I suppose. Hope you like the pic. Have a great weekend!
By the way - if any of you might like to join me on a new UK workshop please follow the link on my bio and sign up with your email for further details. Some fun stuff coming up! Thanks!
