I'm quite alright
But I hope I don't blink

But no one sees me when I crawl back underneath

Something about these dying hydrangeas against the cool aged wooden beams gave me pause today. Of course it was also my all time favorite late day light too. The balance of warm and cool, gold and blue/ gray. I could have stood there and soaked that in for much longer but I had a race to run with two little balls of energy. Happy to have a second to catch that though because that's where my batteries recharge and then I can try to match their endless races. They always win! But at least I have enough fuel to start when I see something like this...
Do you ever get the feeling when you meet someone that they’re not exactly from these times? They’re old souls, wise. Their wisdom shines through their gifts, like they’re beacons, showing those willing to watch and listen, how to tap into their own past. I got goosebumps witnessing @triggersandslips perform the other night. It definitely shook me, in a good way.
