I am a cat person with no cat. I’m not allowed to get one. I was also told last night that I am like “yoga without the yoga” I took this as a compliment, no offense my hard hitting yoga friends. I think what this means is that I find joy in unexpected places. Cats are assholes for the most part, they make you work for it. So does yoga. You can enjoy the process or shut it down and close it off. I know some people just “don’t like cats” or just “don’t like yoga”, and that’s ok. I also know that if you get a bad cat it’s like REALLY BAD (I’ve had one), and yes it is the same with yoga teachers. I am not going to sit here and say something good about ALL yoga teachers because there are some seriously bad ones out there who really should just be put out like a cat in the rain and never come home, yup I just said that, it’s the truth. I guess what I’m saying in this deep analysis of cats and yoga today is, you can try to earn and understand cats, or yogas, or peoples affection and rewards, and try to find the joy in the process of what they offer. OR you just don’t and you close off to the possibility of there being a great cat or yoga teacher or person in your life, but who’s the asshole then? 🐱
If this is too much, for now just enjoy this amazing #catvideo from my friend (don’t follow she’s private) @yeprebekahbrown and demand #morecowbell and try to find joy in unexpected places today which means 👀 LOOK FOR IT! ❤️🤗🙏🏼💋
PS- don’t get me a cat, although I appreciate the thought for those of you thinking about just bringing me a kitten. 😩😩😩😂
