Today, I didn’t just walk 7 miles.
I hiked 7 miles.
Today, I didn’t just hike 7 miles.
I hiked 7 miles with my 23 pound Baby in her 5+ pound hiking backpack.
Today, I didn’t just hike 7 miles with 25+ pounds on my back.
I hiked an extremely difficult trail with steep hills both up and down.
Less than one year ago, I couldn’t even hike one mile without being utterly and completely exhausted. And I hated hiking. I hated hiking because I just couldn’t do it. It was too hard.
Not only that, but when I got to the point where it was hard, I bailed out.
I’ve learned I have so much more to give than that. Ive learned how to push through the “hard” and accomplish the goals that I set. Ive learned that I don’t need to be out of breath but that I can control my own breathing. Ive learned that I can do what I set my mind to.
Today’s hike was, by no means, easy. It was absolutely the hardest thing I’ve ever done physically. I wanted to cry at the end because I was so tired.
But I did it.
Thank you, Beachbody, for making me stronger physically and mentally. Thank you for allowing me to hike with my ten year old Cub Scout and give my 14 month old the experience of hiking young and being outdoors. Things I never would have or could have done a year ago.
Today I hiked seven miles with my son, carrying my daughter. Just a mama with both her babies. (My husband was there too and offered to carry Baby, but I was determined to finish, with PB on my back. Thank you for being so supportive 😁). #iamteambeachbody#beachbodymama#mamabeast#7milehike#hikewithbaby#babyboss#morganterritory#beachbodybeastmode#iamabeast#sagikalevthebeast
