It's pouring outside so today I'm chilling on the sofa with my Luna 🌙. Can't believed she is a little over one week old already! Loving just spending some quality time with her when Alexa is at school. They grow up extremely fast so I'll savour every precious moment #precious#laluna#motherdaughter
Part 3. .
So mom and I don't just have a mother - daughter wrap over. We are also best friends, have always been. 😘
There's nothing I ever feel I should keep from her and there's nothing she has ever kept from me (in my knowledge). From my very childhood she has always shared with me even the intricate moments of her life. Some, I understood and some, she made sure I understand atleast the gist of. Yes, undoubtedly there have been moments when I have hesitated to let her into my world, you know the confused teen-age days. But then some gloomy night I would just call her at three in the morning and just pour everything out, word by word. And she would listen patiently, every single time. Sometimes she would scold the hell out of me and then would call me up again to make me see her point of view so as why I am wrong. And sometimes she would just keep her suggestions out on the table and let me decide whether to pick it up or not. That's something which has always made me confide in her with simply anything or anyone I come across in my life.
Sometimes she she won't let me go out alone to meet a friend and other times she would tell me "What's in a dance" when some guy asks my hand for one. She is the one who pushes me to see how great a guy is when it comes to someone who, according to her, deserves me. She is also the one who keeps no stones unturned to show me the mean selfish prick some apparent well wisher is. She sees the fake in a friend before I do. Basically she is the best judge of my life.
I don't have to think twice before telling her how many guys I talk to and what all we talk about. I never had to. For she is the one who nudges me to take a look at a cute guy around the corner of a street. Trust me, I'm so not exaggerating. 😅
She has always been there to keep my passion alive. Hell, she even tries to bring out my hidden talents (that do not even exist) every now and then. 'Cause for her, if we haven't lived passionately, we haven't really lived - the streak I've gotten from her, again.
To end it, she is my crazy best friend who part-times as my mother. Love you mom!! ❤
from @xowande - When you have a story to tell, tell it well. When you have a garden to grow, grow it well. The intricacies of motherhood. The notion that you have to do stuff according to societal views or the "general norm". The expectation to not cross boundaries nor breathe or laugh within the confinement of what should be the most exhilarating part of life. The surprise when those who choose to paint the picture of their own truth, thrive relentlessly. The idea that in order to live a fulfilling life you have to listen and absorb the energies and the aromas of the flowers planted before you. Be wise, be fearless... daughters. Be kind, be tenacious... mothers. You were especially created to add value to this earth. Your presence as powerful, captivating, sweet smelling and similarly beautiful as the Lily of the valley. Your garden is your hue. Your passion to bloom graciously a boon to the masses. -For Mothers that Plant Flowers #motherhood#motherdaughter
