Yesterday's leg day... trained with the big boys... train and be with folk better than you so you yourself can train to run as fast as them. There's always another mountain to climb, but my legs are feeling like spaghetti right now. Lol
Motivation is what inspires you. Habit is was keeps you moving forward. Use this as your sign to get started on those projects and tasks you've been putting off and don't stop until you've completed them!
I'm not a big proponent of looking back because it keeps your from living in the moment and focusing on the future, but today is one of those days where I feel like reminding myself of the progress I've made🙂 I never shared the photo on the left simply because I wasn't too comfortable letting people see how much weight I had gained. At my heaviest I was ~143 and not feeling the greatest. I was never crippled by insecurity and I loved the strength I had gained but something about my body just threw me off. So I decided to change - plain and simple.
Often times, making the decision to actually do something is the hardest part of the process. It's easy to dissuade yourself from doing something because of the fear of failure, but to ever accomplish anything, one must first commit.
Moral of this rambling session: any form of growth or goal starts with the decision to commit...
That place you want to travel - start saving for it.
The weight you want to lose - start dieting for it.
The person you want to talk too - just say hi.
We over complicate a lot of things in life but don't ever be afraid to do the things that you know will make you better💚
"Because one believes in oneself, one doesn't try to convince others. Because one is content with oneself, one doesn't need others' approval. Because one accepts oneself, the whole world accepts him or her." - Lao Tzu
