Owning a laundromat has taught me some valuable lessons. Three years since we opened and the last two financial years we have posted a profit (albeit a small one but still in the green 👌🏽.) I jumped straight in and learned as I went, thinking outside the box to keep us afloat in the first 8 months and put my fiancé under massive pressure, who was also carrying our first child. We found a niche market in providing linen and cleaning services to holiday homes on the Gold Coast where my fiancé cleaned, and I laundered the linen. We built that up to 12 houses with 6 cleaners before passing it on as the travel from Brisbane was wearing thin. As we enter the start of our 4th year I always reflect on that experience.
When the devil is trying to put a damper on your parade !!!I WONT ALLOW HIM TO DESTROY ME NOT TODAY DEVIL !!!LIFE CAN STRUCK YOU WITH SICKNESS,PAIN ,JOBLESS,HOMELESS BUT WHICH EVER ONE COMES YOUR WAY DO NOT BE AFRAID MY DAUGHTERS,FOR GOD DIS NIT GIVE US A SPIRIT OF FEAR !!we are a chooser generation and call fourth to show his excellent so we are shall not be afraid 🎤🎤🎤🎤🎤🎤🎤🎤🎤
I cannot tell you how many brands I encounter that are so fancy, verbose, and pretentious that they make absolutely no sense to the consumer. Instead, the brand is little more than an ego stroke. Narcissism has no place in your brand. Re-evaluate your brand and be objective. Because your brand is not for you, it's for you ideal client and customer. Period. #DropYourEgo#BeHumble
Run YOUR Race!
It's very easy to get caught up in the noise around you. Don't let what you see others do or what you hear them say derail you. Unfortunately not everyone is going to believe in your goal...Not everyone is going to believe in you. Some people will tell you that you're crazy for pursuing your interest and passion.
Oh well. Who cares. Channel in on your journey and focus on you. Never lose sight of what it is that YOU want to achieve. Sometimes it may feel like an uphill battle but remember the war is won in your mind. If you don't believe in you, you shouldn't expect to move forward. Develop the winners mindset and watch yourself go to better places.
Push yourself to the uncomfortable place you're scared to go. And develop the skills and mindset you would not have had, had you been content where you were.
And for those that hate, they can watch you as you excel to the next level. Surround yourself with positivity and love.

Day 13 of motivational talk 365.
If we constantly experienced good how would we ever know what's bad? We always need the opposite to recognise the other.
So just realise when you are going through tough times, good times are on the way!
Most of us probably can relate to something called the-one-that-got-away. You know, the one screwed up relationship from the past that you act not to care about anymore, yet you would give up ANYTHING to have the one last chance to fix it 💔 Yes, that's sad. Yes, it can hurt to let your mind imagine all the what-ifs...
But what's even MORE sad is that most of us take our amazing, totally life-changing ideas to our graves, too. When was the last time you acted on any of your brand new business ideas? When was the last time you made a business plan for your crazy that-would-never-work kind of idea, which could actually change the world?
Don't let your career and future become the-one-that-got-away, and write your dream down ✨ Then, figure out the first tiny step towards it. That's all you ever have to do, really – just figure out another tiny step. And another. Are you in? 💪
Here is an outtake of John Alite for @societyofficiel. John is a former Gotti hitman turned government informant turned motivational speaker. The stories John told the writer were incredible. When asked if people were out to get him he told a story from a few weeks back when he was attacked outside a strip club in Queens and had to escape by jumping off a bridge into the river.
