In the world we know, every day of our lives is consumed by rules, laws, and limitations. If I throw a rock into the air it’s going to hit a certain point, come to a stop, and fall back down to earth. That’s science. That result can be mathematically proven and there’s really no debate about it. The issue though, and one of the most tragic elements about human behavior is when that exact certainty, that limitation, is applied to potential. Because potential is not a thing, potential is an idea. Visualize someone who just completed a six minute mile. It’s a pretty good time, something to be proud of. The question though, is what tangible evidence, what proof does that individual have that they couldn’t have run 5:59 or 5:50? 5:30? So often we stop because we believe we’ve done enough. Unlike that rock flying through the air, there’s no defined stopping point for you other than the one you give yourself. Every day is an opportunity to become that standard. But you have to first believe you are. Believe that your capability and talents stretch far beyond what is right in front of you. - - - - - - - - - - - -

Whether youre dealing with stress due to school, work, relationships, etc. the power to overcome it lies solely within yourself. My Grandma is consistently telling me that there is a power within positive thinking, and I am slowly finding those words to be true.
I'll be honest, I tend to be one that always plans for the worst. I used to think it was easier that way, but I am beginning to believe otherwise. School has really been testing me lately, and beyond that my body hasn't exactly been holding up either. Due to these reasons I have really turned to positive thinking...and those that care about me.
Special shoutout to everyone that has been there for me these past few weeks. You know how you are, and I consider myself truly blessed to have you rooting for me and pushing me to finish what I've started.
I have less than two months of school left and then I will finally be able to start my life down in KC. I am ready and I will finish strong. 👊💪📚🎓

We ALL have experienced it, are experiencing or will experience, and to be honest it sucks! But most of the time, the challenge is not the thing you are insecure about, rather it is insecurity itself.
Today we want to send encouragement your way- know that you are not a alone and it is normal. Don't let fear and anxiety corner you into comfort, because there's nothing scarier than seeking comfort rather than growth.
So go out there and do it scared!
Are we the only ones that experience this?
Spending some time today planning out my schedule and priorities! Trying to organize everything on my to-do list AND focus on getting them done is just not my thing right now. I love making lists, but can't seem to check things off! I get distracted WAY too easily. All I seem to think about is food.. I can't even tell you how many chocolate breaks I've taken this week 😂🍫 Don't get me wrong, chocolate is good for the soul, but it does not help with being projective!
How do you convince yourself to stay on track and check things off of your list?! Share your advice below! 🙋🏼
