My new mountain friend that I met at Mt. Yangbew peak. I've always thought of horses to be such strong animals. And for them to be able to climb the rocky ascent to the summit, it must be true. Stay strong, boy. :)
Spent about an hour underground. When we resurfaced, an irate man was there to greet us. He said we were trespassing and insisted that the "Stay out. Stay alive." sign was a trespass notice. It's actually just a courtesy safety warning. When I researched later I found it was public land, but he did have an active claim which gives him no exclusive rights and no authority to claim the land as his own.
I miss climbing mountains with these wonderful people. Miss you guys! 😊
