For 2nd grade class awards, I was voted, "Most likely to complete a marathon." Well, I still haven't done that....yet 😏. But, I nearly trudged up and down the deep mountain snow for one on this day. All said and done, it was a little over 17 miles & 10 hours. We didn't end up reaching the summit as we started a little too late. By the time the sun was high up in the sky, we were sinking to our waist as the ice turned to wet snow.
On a more solemn note, it's this guy’s last full week in Colorado. At the time I graduated college, I never would have believed how close our friendship would become over the next few years. Genuinely thankful that happened, and words cannot express the gratitude I have for you in opening my eyes up to Colorado for the first time back in September 2015. I left with a shredded up right knee, but a soul that finally found what it had been missing. You see, there's something that happens when you adventure into the mountains. Deeper bonds are formed, trust cultivates, your mountain crew becomes your tribe (we all need our tribes). All the best to you on your next chapter, man; I know how hard it must be to leave the Rockies, but I also know how excited you have always been for the next adventure. Until the next time we find ourselves sinking waist deep at 12,000 feet 🤘🏼🤙🏼👊🏼
2018 is going to be AMAZING! I can FEEL IT and I can't WAIT to see what it has in store for us! I couldn't be more excited for all of it!!! _______
This year I'm going to focus on being more INTENTIONAL in EVERYTHING that I do! Not only in my business but in my personal life too! Where I spend my time. The things I invest in. Where I'm going to focus on growing my business. What projects I take on. The places I'm going to travel to and explore. My relationships with my family, friends, and fellow wedding vendors. EVERYTHING!
What are YOU focusing on this year?! Comment below! I'd LOVE to cheer you on in your goals too!
Heading up the tram to Corbet’s Couloir. Of course we chose the coldest and windiest day to head up to the infamous run. Winds at the summit were at 60-70mph. Fml! I totally chickened out and I was that person heading down the tram 😂😂
