Good list: Morning bath time. Lavender bubbles. Blonde headed babies (yes they're mine, no I don't know where all that blond hair came from.) Moments to slow down when life wants to push me too fast. Thoughts on when a milestone becomes a rest stop on the blog today. See also the poor birthday girl with the giant puffy eye from a birthday "kiss" from a bee. 🐝 #goodlist
After 4 months, we finally hung the curtains up in the living room. I purposely put it off because I love our big windows and the natural light that floods our home, but these airy curtains are a happy medium for privacy & light allowance 🙂 #saturdayvibes
Found this beauty last week and about to wear it on repeat! First thing I thought when I saw it was can I have the black version? (Does anyone else do this?) Been collecting so many black bags and it was about time I changed that!
NEW BLOG // Today I share the amazing night I had with my family and what I'm learning about creating harmony in my life. I don't care for the word "balance." I share why, so read on! 💖 P.S. This is my niece diving into the beautiful, but freezing Lake Michigan a couple years back. She's my mini #miracleworker . Always teaching me something. ✨
Moved my younger brother in and said a final goodbye as he starts a new adventure in life. I'm excited to see all that he accomplishes and the person he becomes as he goes into his first year of college. Make debatable decisions, live outside your comfort zone and try to get at least 6 hours of sleep a night [8 hours is overrated].
I always love reading the stories people tell about the quirky pieces in their home. Tommy always thinks I'm crazy when we go shopping or thrifting and I fill our cart with the oddest knick knacks, but I always tell him every thing I buy has a purpose and place in our home. Like the ugly vases I thrifted because I loved their shape, but not their color so I spray painted them a matte black to put on display. Or those beautiful stone corbels I got from Goodwill that I use as bookends. And the thrifted art I bought because I love ships! Cluttered minds are often just creative ones 🤗 (And yes Dracarys is chillin in this photo cause she loves to photo bomb).
BLOG POST // Needed this message tonight for myself. I choose to see mountains as opportunities for growth. With #God , I have moved many mountains in my life, and the ones I encounter now and in the future are only meant to serve me, to serve the world. 💖

Something I value more than most. It's something that isn't easy to do but the reward of sharing my story is worth the nervousness. Putting my mental health journey out there for the world to read has brought judgement and backlash but the positive responses and the opportunities it's brought outweigh the negative. Thank you to everyone that has supported me through this venture. Can't wait to share more with you.
VIDEO BLOG TEASER // I talk about the two ways I see resistance coming up for us. In some moments, we can utilize resistance to serve us, and in another form, we must become aware of the resistance we are feeling, then welcome and even lean into it. Watch the video on my blog and tell me what you think!💖
NEW BLOG // I have learned if I want my life to work, I must have #integrity . Thing is, I will constantly break promises to myself and others because I'm human and I'm up to a big game in life. 🦄 There is a way to restore yourself when this happens. Today I share 5 steps on how to restore your word when you break promises. It's been a game-changer for me. Check it out! ✨
AD I don’t know about you but the one accessory I love hoarding would have to be sunglasses! My sister and I spent this week exploring around the Twin Cities and I brought my @Foster_grant_sunglasses along with me! I don’t think I wore the same pair any day in a row! If you’re looking to get a new pair of them look no further than Foster Grant, they provide an effortless style to any outfit and are extremely affordable at a price point of $25 bucks! I got so many compliments on all of them and everyone kept asking me where I got them. When I told them they were Foster Grant and under $25 dollars everyone got really excited… my sister even tried to steal a pair from me! If you would like to pick up a pair for yourself I have a promo code for 20% off your first purchase!! Use code FG443 and get a pair for yourself! #FGShadesofYou
Happy Friday! Weekends as a small business in the wedding industry are crazy this time of year. And trust me everyday feels like a weekend - not sure if that's a good thing or not. Unfortunately I don't think I'll be able to find time to take Gus for a hike- with a wedding and other obligations -but I'm hoping for a good walk! Here's to slowing down and making people feel like the best version of themselves.
