Enjoying the views on our way up Mt.Harvard // July 2017.
Colorado has 53 mountains over 14,000ft and Mt.Harvard is the 3rd tallest. The entire hike we had flawless weather and were surrounded by phenomenal views and people.
What an awesome Labor Day weekend. I summited Columbia at 6:45pm on Sunday and here I am at 2pm at what seemed like the top of the world. The 3rd highest peak in Colorado. My 4th 14er
This picture has given me warm fuzzies all day. I'm sitting on my couch watching Netflix today. 24 hours ago, I was higher than anything or anyone for as far as the eye could see. It's an amazing feeling that I cannot reproduce any other way. #mtharvard#colorado#colorado14ers#14ers#hiking#optoutside
We had to move fast to race against the approaching thunderstorm, but I was able to capture this one shot for the .005 seconds we spent on the summit of Mt. Columbia. This was @__kelly_rose__ finisher for the #SawatchRange#14ers !
I've always said the Harvard/Columbia traverse is by far the least fun of all the 14ers. I tried it again just to give it a second chance... It really is the worst. #neveragain#goodriddance#14er#mtcolumbia#mtharvard#purplehairdontcare
Yesterday, @klyons329 and I hiked 14+ miles up and down Mt. Harvard, the 3rd highest mountain in all of Colorado, one of the "14ers" (peaks over 14,000 feet), and the peak named after our Alma mater! It was challenging, humbling (that last mile, with plenty of hands-on rock climbing, took us well over an hour!), awe-inspiring (the views!!! 🙌🏻), and rewarding.
So today, for Workout Wednesday, go out and challenge YOURself. Whatever that means to you... push yourself to do one extra rep, go one extra mile, push a little bit harder, go a little bit faster... and enjoy the feeling of making yourself stronger. Make it a great day!
Mt Harvard - 14,420ft ⛰ Sunday, August 27 ☀️ Perfect day to knock Harvard off the list ✔️ and revisit my 14er nemesis Mt Columbia (that mountain is crumbling to the ground). Fun link up between the two with some boulder field scrambling and lots of gain! 📷: @markmarzen

Quitting. It's much easier to quit when life gets tough, instead of pushing ourselves to do bigger and better things. As humans we are constantly growing and changing. Growth doesn't always look or feel good in the moment, but is so rewarding in the end. Mountains teach us to keep climbing, no matter how hard it may seem or how far you have left to go. We know the climb will be worth it...those views will be worth it. Standing on the top of that mountain looking down at the path you took to get there will always be humbling. Apply this to your everyday life, because the climb will always be worth it, especially if it's not easy.
How have the mountains/nature influenced your life in a positive way?
