first, could I be any more pale??? 😳👻 second, prep is hard. mentally I'm all over the place (feeling ready but self-doubt all in the same moment) and physically I'm exhausted (I literally had trouble walking up the stairs this morning). the reality is that this is normal for a competitor. you'll have many days where you want to give up and give in. you'll have to drag yourself into the gym after sitting just outside in the car for 20 minutes contemplating going all the way back home. you'll want to not drink your gallon of water or take your supps or eat the same meal as yesterday and the day before that. it will feel almost impossible to get out of bed in the morning. you'll want to eat a whole pack of Oreos in one sitting and you don't even like Oreos (uh this is just an example because ya Oreos are the shit 🍪). this isn't constant for me by any means (thankfully I have more good days than bad), but when I feel like this I often wonder if it's all worth it.
but it is. it ALWAYS is. remember why you started in the first place.
it's easy to do it when you're motivated, but motivation NEVER lasts. you are never going to be motivated to do something uncomfortable. DISCIPLINE is pushing through rough patches and continuing towards your goals when the going gets tough. if it were easy there would be a whole lot more successful people out there, amirite?! another 💣 glute workout for the books with @mikayla.bryan 🍑👯 made me feel 💯% better #2weeks#12weeks
