It may be one of the most incredible museums in Paris...built in the 17th century, the Hotel Salé became the Picasso Museum in 1985. " Olga Picasso", an exhibition dedicated to the painter's first wife and muse is running until Sept 3.
Don't miss it ! It's open today until 6pm 👉 3 rue de Thorigny, 75003. #museepicasso#museum#hotelsale#olgapicasso#picasso#marais
Picasso was having the best time of his life in Antibes, a coastal town that reminded him a lot of his hometown Malaga, when he painted this. I don't normally like the works of "happy" artists, for I believe to create something sublime, someone needs to connect with their deepest feelings, which can only be achieved when they are miserable or in pain, but I kind of like this one. He used bright colors to emphasize the happy days of living in Antibes.
Oh, and I love my checkered pencil skirt, which I thought I would never fit in it, because I bought it in Japan where people are slim and I didn't try it on before going to a check-out machine, and although it's an XL, but it was still too small for my tush. Did I lose weight? Of course not! I just brought it to a tailor for a little altering.
