I've slept to this song a few times now. I love that it reminds of Second Time Around which was a demo she wrote a long time ago for someone else I believe. I feel like she's taken her old sound and evolved it into this after experimenting with different sounds for a while. And the result is fantastic. I hope she keeps in this direction.

The World Is a Beautiful Place & I Am No Longer Afraid To Die - Always Foreign (2017) // This band (or collective?) is much more than just a part of the so called emo revival. This is their third album and it's really good and really diverse as well. When they say in the opener: "I’ll make everything look like it’s happy“, it's not the whole truth. This album is a rollercoaster ride through so many different feelings. 🎢 An album for the colder days to come. It's like a good companion who can keep you warm and sane. 🔥 This is the first EU/UK pressing, electric blue w/swamp green & bronze splatter, limited to 1000.
Mi favorita es #Hurricane , es un tema increíble, pero sobresalen también City Lights, All I See is Gold, Love Will Tell Us Where to Go y Hold On For Dear Love.
"Sacred Songs" (RCA Victor, 1980)

Recorded in 1977 but shelved for a few years by the record label, and you can probably guess why. The unlikely union of #DarylHall and #RobertFripp was, indeed, a bizarre one probably not well suited to the blue-eyed soul star's fans, but it was also a spectacularly good one for that very reason. Fripp's #avantgarde trademarks of the '70s (analog loops, saturated modality, dissonance, and occasional frantic speed) worked into Hall's characteristically elegant pop-rock seems like something someone would come up with for a laugh, but it's actually an extremely compelling listen. To begin with, Hall turns in a very strong set of layered, glammy songs, but Fripp sends them to unexpected places with truly astounding results - like the dreamy solo in the #powerpop rocker "Something in 4/4 Time," the #Frippertronics -as-lead-guitar in "Babs & Babs," and the full-on, white-knuckled noise-punk assault (...you heard me) of "NYCNY." (And what a true couplet: "Too much time around you starts to kick my ass/Too much time away and I lose my lease.") In fact, that stretch - from "4/4" to the end of side A - is one of the strongest and most original bodies of music in my collection. Must-hear stuff, especially because other than his solo album "Exposure," this is your last chance to hear old school Fripp at the apex of his development - after this, he became a very textural guitarist with a highly treated sound, but here you get to hear him rip and tear through an unfiltered Les Paul one last glorious time.

#NowSpinning Kendrick Lamar-good kid, m.A.A.d city (Gatefold 2x LP) | This album turns 5 years old today! Is it fair to call GKMC a modern hip hop classic? I definitely think so. It totally makes sense that the cover art refers to the album as a “short film”, as Kendrick’s abilty to tell a story shines so much here that you can really visualize exactly whats going on for the entire listen. For an album thats been out since 2012, it STILL seems ahead of its time now in 2017. I can’t definitively say that this is my favorite album K Dot has put out as he brings something unique to the table with each release, but DAMN. (see what I did there?) what a piece of art. #KendrickLamar#KDot#goodkidmAAdcity#SingAboutMeImDyingOfThirst#HipHop#TopDawgEnt#TDE#MusicCollector#MusicCollection#RecordCollector#33rpm#Vinyl
