A glass of Pinot Grigio and my sweet pupper. Friday night has finally arrived! I have to be honest and say today has been a terrible day nutrition-wise. I didn't weigh this morning since I just weighed on Monday, so I plan to post my next weigh in next Friday morning and see what progress I've made. ☺️ Take a deep breath, spend some time with someone you love, and have a beautiful weekend!
The weekend is a great time to unwind and celebrate successes from the week that has passed. But if your goals are to lose weight be careful as one miscalculated meal could completely undo all your progress for the week.
The obvious things to watch out for are commonly known high calorie items like desserts and alcohol. That's not to say you cannot have them just be accountable for it.
It also doesn't matter if you are eating "healthy" or "clean". If you eat more than your body's needs you will not lose weight. Typical "healthy" items that are calorie dense are nuts, avocado, oils, quinoa.
Weight loss is never linear so mishaps like this will lead to frustration and will ultimately cause you to quit.
Understand your body, know it's limits and eat and drink within those limits consistently and you will eventually see progress.
Have a good weekend!
Honey mustard stuffed potato and beans. Did you know white potatoes are filled with potassium?? I just learned that! Also food labels don't have to list potassium so if it looks like you are always low in MFP don't worry. Potassium is in more food than you realize.
Low carb, high fiber, high protein mexican pizza inspired by taco bell. Made my own taco seasoning and used Ole xtreme high fiber low carb tortillas. It was slightly higher in calorie than taco bell but I thing that was the quantity of beef and beans. Delish, huge and filling!

This was taken on my first night at college! I've been at college since the 15th. And I like it! Everyday I'm walking at least 7000 to 1200 steps. It's awesome! One confession though... the food I've been eating haven't been that healthy and it's annoying when you're trying to watch what you eat and there are a few hundred people walking all over and rushing. I'm used to being at home and taking my time to track my calories and arrange it nicely o my plate and here everyone is rushing. And I don't want to be "that" person!
I've also been sweating a lot and it's so gross when you're trying to talk to someone and they notice how sweaty you are. Yeah.... not a good first impression!! Anyways, I'm excited. Classes start Monday! WOO WOO!! 😄😄
