It’s so fitting that Tensley’s birthday follows just 3 days behind Zoe’s, just close enough to be overshadowed if you let it. He probably likes it that way. He’s not one for the spotlight, a quiet anchor keeping us steady so we don’t drift away in the currents.
And from the first moments that Zoe joined our family, he’s stayed just far enough behind her to allow her to experience, explore and grow on her own but never so far that she feels alone or unsafe. His hands are always there to support her.
I looked through photos to post today to celebrate him, and there it was. Visual evidence of his selfless service to his family. Photo upon photo of Zoe front and center with his steadying hands following just behind.
Thank you for everything you do for us and Happy Birthday, @10skoontz. Zoe and I love you so much. .
