Finally hit 115x2 PR☺️🙉!!!! Yes I know the second one was defff a grinder, and I have always been good without a spotter btw, I won't die😉😂 Bench is by far my favorite lift ever👌🏼👌🏼 (the arch is powerlifting form). I seriously cannot wait to throw on some real plates and hit 135 🙆🏻

I clearly don't film things much anymore... I thought I placed my phone correctly to check my form but noooooo, I cut off my legs. So obviously I had to do an extra triple just to get one with my legs (cause FRAMING MATTERS). Have I ever stated how much I hate these decagonal plates? Only everyday. *barf*

Pumping my chickenlegs with some good ol deadlifts 🐥 4x beltless 190kg @ 67kg bodyweight on an empty stomach. How?!

I believe deadlifting is for the largest part a MENTAL exercise where an efficient Mind-Muscle Connection triumphs over perfect form. If your mind doesn’t strongly believe that you will be able to lift a certain weight you simply won’t.
MMC is your ability to increase the number of muscle fibers that are being recruited when lifting. The more muscle fibers you’re able to recruit within your body, the stronger you will be on your lifts and the more muscle you’ll be able to break down in order to stimulate growth. However, it is much more than just ‘feeling’ the muscle working or trying to visualize the contraction. MMC is a real occurence happening inside your body that influences neuromuscular dynamics throughout resistance training.

Some people have always been telling me that my form sucks (and in a way they were right) and how you must always deadlift with perfect form at all times. But fastforward one year, two years and you will typically still see these ‘experts’ (men) pleateauing at 80kg-120kg deadlifts and not being able to move past very light weights. 
Many think that if you just solely focus on proper form during an exercise, the right muscles will do the work for you automatically. But when looking at some big compound exercises (bench press, squat, deadlift) it requires far more than just the mindset of “picking things up and putting them down”. For instance with squats and deadlifts one must push through the hips with a massive force in order to complete it. You will therefore, never lift nearly as much weight unless you train yourself on how to effectively contract your glutes during this part of the movement. All compound exercises heavily depend on your ability to efficiently activate various muscle groups at the proper timing. You can learn this by experimenting with many different weights during your training. Form IS important, but you should also frequently try to push yourself to lift HEAVIER (less comfortable) weights as well in order to test your limits as to what you can potentially lift.
