Touch n Go Push Jerks tonight with @3milytrout. 6 reps every 2 minutes, 10 times. This was the last set and we upped the weight to 25kg. Been going to Pi for 6 months now 💗 Getting there, slowly but surely. 😊💪🏻
A P P R E C I A T I O N // 💪🏻 Flashback Friday.
Six months ago today I took the plunge and started training with this one. My eyes were opened to whole new different way of training. Instead of being placed on a machine and told to do so many reps I was pulled out of my comfort zone and introduced to crossfit traning. This for me was a challenge and still is BUT the biggest thing is this one won’t ever let me give up on that challenge each session and no matter what time I complete the workout in she still makes sure I complete it even if I have lost my head. Thank you for being so supportive with not only training but everything else in my life and for encouraging me to become a better person in all that I do each day. You are not only my PT but on this journey have become a best friend and I am eternally grateful for that. In the words of you yesterday “This is hard and we push hard to get you to where you want to be and build the strength you want just don’t give up, I won’t let you give up until you have finished the workout” and last night this is what I needed to hear. So thank you shnooks for being you and all you do for not only me but everyone else in your life and always putting others first. You are one of a kind and irreplaceable. Sei mesi fa la mia idea di allenamento era quella di rotolarmi sul divano, salire qualche gradino e allungarmi al supermercato per raggiungere la scatola di biscotti sullo scaffale più alto. Poi ho incontrato @silviocaraccio_pt dopo il primo allenamento ero morta, non riuscivo nemmeno a fare mezzo esercizio e il mio plank durava si e no 12 secondi. Ora - con 5 chili di meno - mi sento decisamente più agile, più forte e riesco a portare a termine qualsiasi esercizio, utilizzando anche il vogatore (al quale non mi sarei mai avvicinata, neanche sotto tortura). Senza Silvio non sarei mai riuscita a superare i miei limiti. I suoi "dai che ce la fai" "fanne ancora uno" "resisti" mi hanno portata ad essere più consapevole di quello che il mio corpo può fare. Grazie immensamente per avermi spronata. Just before the family arrive with a mountain of Christmas stollen and I lose all my fitness work, I thought I’d get a quick before and after pic in! After descending into fitness chaos at the end of last year, I’ve done a lot of dancing @streetenvydanceacademy , eaten a lot of chicken and broccoli and religiously lifted some (increasingly) big weights 3 times per week.
I’ve got a massive thanks to make to this man @adamedwardspt who I started with in May. Brilliant PT. I’ve actually followed his lifestyle plan - nutrition, sleep, gym - without too much cheating (which is quite hard as I think about lots chocolate approximately every 5 mins 😈) Think his plan working. Plus - bonus - he is sometimes quite funny 👌
Can’t wait to get back after Christmas to work on some more pyramid training after months of density training as well as more work on linking mind to muscle. 💪.I also foresee a kitchen gadget in my future. I recon I can carve another 5 mins off food prep with a blender). I’ve think I’ve accidentally caught a bit of joy of weight lifting from #adzpt 😬
