Today it’s been 2 years, 1 month and 2 days since I walked in the door of @weightwatchers and committed to this journey NO MATTER WHAT and no matter how long it took.
Today... I celebrated reaching GOAL🎉
The first time I joined WW was in 4th grade and I have never made goal. Ever. Today I did and the feelings I have are unlike anything I could have prepared myself for.
I’ve committed my life to my health and it has paid off in a big way. I told my meeting this morning that it is so much more than the number on the scale.
I feel better.
I believe in myself again... maybe for the first time ever.
I am more ME than ever.
This feels amazing.
If today you feel like giving up... DON’T you dare. Fight for this day. Fight for YOUR goal day. You have the fire, drive & determination inside you to do it... go find it, get out there and get your life back. You deserve it. Don’t watch from the sidelines anymore. Your best life is waiting for you!!!
🎶 And we’re free, freeeeeeestylin’! 🎶 Feeling GOOD in this body of mine. Loving how I look in pictures from pierogi day and just *feeling* good (besides the fact that wearing lipstick is almost required on baking days with my nieces 😘). I hope everyone is enjoying the new freedom of the freestyle program changes!
Halloumi fries 😍🧀🍟 we’ve looked around winter wonderland and got some food so now we’re heading down to oxford street to do some shopping before we go back when it’s dark 🎡✨ I’ve already raided primark and now I’m on to river island 🤦🏻♀️😂
Waking up this morning and pinching myself. Did I really hit goal yesterday? I did. I really did it this time. Feeling thankful. Feeling a little emotional, but also feeling proud.
Here are some pictures from yesterday. My leader Sarah who has been so amazing throughout my journey. My friends @lwalkermk & @mrssoukup_ww who I love sharing this journey with. (Lots of others i didn’t snap pics) And Rayna... the one who has weighed me in almost every single Saturday since I began over 2 years ago. She’s seen this journey at the scale and always provided me hope and encouragement. I was so glad she was there yesterday to celebrate with.
If you are a @weightwatchers leader or receptionist... I hope you know how important your job is. Our meeting staff is phenomenal. I love these women. Their support has been essential to my success and I am so thankful for all of them!😘😘
I had to take an epsom salt bath today because I hurt my back. When my chiropractor recommended it this morning I got super nervous because the last time I attempted a bath it was so uncomfortable because I didn’t fit in my tub. My hips were wider than the tub, making it far from relaxing or comfortable for that matter.
I decided to try it today during my son’s nap, and when I got in and realized I had plenty of room on both sides I kinda wanted to cry.
I don’t have a glamorous tub. It’s my kids bathtub filled with toys and bubbles, etc. but I took 20 minutes today and soaked in an epsom salt bath, read a chapter in my book and took care of ME... and I fit comfortably.
These #NSV are what the journey is about. The everyday ordinary things that people without a weight issue take for granted like fitting in a normal sized bathtub. I won’t ever take it for granted. I worked too hard to forget where I came from.
Is it even December if you haven’t started on all the cheese and crackers yet? 😍🎄🧀 Mini party tonight whilst watching the Strictly final. I have two more fans to watch it with me now, my boys love it lol 😂👍🏻💃🏻 Chris pretends he hates it 😂🙄 Have an enjoyable Saturday night everyone 💛 Please remember it’s the festive season, it’s here to enjoy. Enjoy time with loved ones and be boring in January 🙌🏼👍🏻😂🙌🏼 #myfestiveflex
Not even surprised. Well maybe a little. Surprised it’s not much bigger! .
This week has been a not planned free for all. Cookies and snacking all day. No water. No bueno. .
This week’s goal: plan & track it all!
No breakfast for me today as I finally managed to get a lie in! I slept until about 9am and then caught up on a bit of Hollyoaks omnibus and had a nice soak in the bath and washed my hair. Then a quick nip to Tesco for veg and home to make a mini roast for lunch! Chicken breast (0SP) with carrot and swede mash (0SP), broccoli (0SP), half a can of new potatoes roasted in the oven (1SP), 2 frozen Yorkshire’s (2SP) and gravy made with half of a Knorr chicken gravy pot (1SP) 🍽
