Keeping it light tonight as it's weigh-day tomorrow and I still have 2lbs holiday excess to lose! This was a WW Recipe BNS & Red Lentil dish that I batch cooked a while ago (2SP). TBH I didn't enjoy it on its own as a main meal, but I've used it as a base for a fish-dish and it would be good with chicken for e.g. Tonight I added 125g Chive & Onion Cottage Cheese (2SP) and a big handful of spinach (for last minute Protein Wins 🙌🏼) x
I lost 1/2lb today at weigh in this morning. I know a loss is a good thing, even a 1/2lb loss but I can't help feeling disappointed with my result. The last few months I've been finding it harder to shift the weight and I still have a good 2 stone to lose.
The pic shows the progression of my weight loss since Jan when I started and I realise I need to look at the bigger picture and see how far I've come.
Today at weigh in my coach suggested that I've been working out too much and should slow it down. I feel a bit conflicted about this advice.
Firstly, I don't feel I work out excessively even though this week I did work out more than I normally do as I started kickboxing and have really been enjoying it.
This has been my workout schedule for the last week:
Sat: 30 min kickboxing
Mon: 30 min kickboxing + 30 min Jillian Micheal's Body Revolution
Tue: 30 min Jillian Micheal's Body Revolution
Wed: 30 min kickboxing
Thur: 30 min kickboxing
Is this really too much exercise? Exercise has become really important to me lately as I find it helps me destress but I don't feel I'm really overdoing it.

I didn't make it to weigh in yesterday. I was full of good intentions but it didn't happen so my next weigh in will be 11th November. This is scary to me as I need a regular weigh in to keep me in check but I am focusing on the feeling of stepping on the scales and getting a lighter reading. I would be so proud of myself so trying to concentrate on that! I wanted to weigh in America but ww said it's a completely different company so not really a possibility. Maybe I will just weigh in at a drug store or something?
I had time for a bath last night which was so serene. I had the Epsom salts and my calm app and it was like I was living the dream. It has made a massive difference to my back today, everything feels less tense. I think I will take my salts and have a hotel bath before we fly as it might help keep my anxiety in check if my muscles are relaxed. I hate flying but the therapy I had has really helped me so fingers crossed for an anxiety free flight!
I don't have dog guilt this time as they get to stay home rather than go to kennels. I know they will have a great time with uncle Boobie. The best thing about WW is, after a bad day you just put it behind you and keep pushing forwards. Back on track today with 40g @aldiuk Berries & Cherries Muesli (5SP), 110g @lidluk Skyr (1SP) with blueberries and pineapple 🌴 🍍 Totally Tropical 🍍 🌴 x
Made some mistakes today but looking on the bright side...Next time I WILL have the buffet lunch instead of avoiding it because 'I don't know the SPs', resulting in me being hungry at 3pm and eating more digestive thins than can be considered 'a healthy alternative' 🙀And still looking on the bright side (I'm really trying) I made the best choices of a bad lot at the works dinner tonight...didn't eat the bread...and only had one small Rosé - with Soda. Blimy I'll be lucky if today doesn't affect the scales on Saturday 🙏🏻🤞🏼🙏🏻 x
I'm quite proud of this little pat on the back from the App 👏🏻. I've never felt like I've done enough exercise to warrant logging it on the App, before, but this week I've logged my boogie bounce class, spinning class and the hour of gardening I did at the weekend - I'm classing it as squats because my legs were like jelly by the time I stood up straight an hour later 😂 x
