If I had to name one valuable lesson I learned from having to go through cancer it would be that our time on this earth is limited and nothing is ever certain or guaranteed in your life no matter how much you want it to be or how much you work for it. The only thing that is certain is that we have a choice to recognize the beauty of every moment given to us and enjoy those moments while they unfold. Don’t waste your time. First half of Mondays flow as everyone is sick in our house and no time for filming.
FYI this is about 10 minutes sped into 45 seconds. Slowing down and anchoring into my breath calms both me and #babygirl . The realities of motherhood aren’t just adorable cuddles and heartwarming smiles. Times can be TOUGH. Actually tougher than tough. But by taking a minute or five or ten and just slowing down your breath rationalises the mind and makes everything seem more manageable.
"Unity is strength. When there is teamwork and collaboration wonderful things can be achieved." - literally the perfect description for the photo because what is yoga other than UNITY.
Growth through yoga teaches us to find love, union, the source of everything within ourselves and within one another. In this photo, our differences in skills, fears and energy (with our egos completely left at home👋) absolutely made everything work perfectly together. It was so exciting to see all of us click so well!
Btw! These girls generally love practicing acro yoga and are VERY good at it, and then there was me - a newbie. 👼 I was kind of unsure and a bit scared at first, but their confidence eventually rubbed off on to me too and I was able to trust them in no time! I am very happy that my first attempt went well! .

So the other night I had a really delicious piece of bread with a slab of butter and thought to myself “this is why they say the bread and butter of life” because it’s the simple things that are magic. (Baked goods + butter = ✨🔮) Like the holidays aren’t about big parties and big gifts, they’re about moments of love and connection which mean the most. So give yourself the space to return to simplicity to finish this year and begin the next. Enjoy the bread and butter, the love and connection, and take time to breathe it all in. Enjoy the little moments, and as you allow simplicity, let it offer the space for peace. Less rushing, more presence. Less hustle, more breath. Less stress, more peace. 💝
