The beauty of gaming is it is a history that you can experience again and again. 35 years later this game is still a favourite. Smashing some DK with my sons. This game came out before I was born, yet today I share the joy it brought me with the next generation.
Some pretty cool stuff arrived today. I've been waiting to be able to buy some of the things in here for the longest time due to their availability. I bought Super Mario Sunshine a really really really long time ago from another website and they ended up emailing me back and saying that it had been nicked so I never ended up getting it and that was a few months ago but this time I got it from a different website that I absolutely love. And Mario Kart double Dash, that's my dream game for my GameCube and a while back I went into my favourite retro Gaming shop and was so close to buying it but it had a really big rip in it so I didn't buy it and just waited for it to come on the one really trustworthy website that I buy games from really so it took a few months but i ended up getting it so it's like an early birthday present. And the deal with the Nintendo magazines.. to cut the story short I'm trying to collect every Nintendo magazine that exists... yes that's going to be the trickiest thing in the entire world and also the most grueling and longest thing to complete 😂 but I'm willing. It will be really fun and rewarding. These are some of the favourite nintendo magazines that I own now! Oh and the F1 game... my explanation for that is that I'm a really really big fan of Formula One, there's not really much more to it than that hahaha.
I'm insanely happy to pick up a rare CIB copy of the North American version of Soccer Kid for Game Boy Advance (Telegames, 2002). Just try to look for one - you won't find one. The thing is - the European version of Soccer Kid is insanely _easy_ to find, and can be picked up at any time for under $10. The European version works the same as the North American version on any GBA around the world since GBA is not region locked, so from a standpoint of gaming you can just pick up a European version. Soccer Kid is not a well known or popular game franchise, so the amount of people that care about the specific North American release are few. But I'm so so happy about this one. I've had my eye out for it for about a year now, and pieced together the box, manual, and cart from different sources. 😌 👑
Go buy your N64s a beer -- they just turned 21 today! The #N64 was released on June 23, 1996 in Japan with only 3 launch titles: Super Mario 64, Pilotwings 64, and Saikyo Habu Shogi.
Love this console and all of its special edition colors! (Still missing a few!) #nintendo#nintendo64#birthday#gaming#gamecollecting
