*port 9 photos* I'm sure we can all agree that Villefranche is one of the most picturesque seaside towns you have ever seen... Arriving at the dock, an overwhelming feeling of gratitude consumed me, the view was breathtaking and someone somewhere had given me the opportunity to witness it in person! A great sense of community wonders through the quiet streets of Villefranche, which seems to cherish lazy mornings and home-made, well, everything! Regardless of its visibility to the passing public, every single corner is either pristine or has its culture so perfectly preserved that you wouldn't even think about painting over it; the balance of the two is perfect... I can't believe I'd never heard of Villefranche... Well, it turns out the Mediterranean had A LOT to offer! Spending a little time in a whole lot of different places; surrounded by a wealth of enriching culture, enchanting people and breathtaking architecture, I've attempted to sum it all up with the cream of the crop. Granted there are some slightly cheesey -yet fun-loving- 'tourist classics' to roll your eyes at. But I believe it's so easy to grasp the landscapes beauty when you plonk the not-so-elegent adolescent right in the middle (I'll try to remove myself next time). Maybe it provides a juxtaposition, for you can only really appreciate Jekyll when placed next to Hyde ;) Here's hoping you too can appreciate the magnificent beauty of it all and share your own adventures. Over the past few months it's become immensely apparent that no matter how small you think your expedition was or your story may be it only takes one word or one picture to inspire that passion. Have a great day :)
Just a lorry parked in the middle of the road, lorry driver talking on the phone at the same time with a helmetless scooter rider in traffic... no big deal.
