This month the team at Ron Jon #ChimneySweep inspected a customers #chimney in #Natick MA. Right away we noticed that the customer’s lead flashing seal was faltering and all chewed up. We applied an elastomeric flashing sealant to repair it and now the customer has a reliable, strong, water resistant, nice looking flash seal! If you live in Natick, #Framingham or any of the local surrounding #Metrowest cities/towns and have a question or concern about your chimney or fireplace give us a call today!
Progress at our #19marshallrd project. We are making a great progress on the inside this week. However, the rainy weather is slightly impacting our schedule for the exterior work: metal roof overhang, exterior trim and the stonework. We will catch up!
A woman died and a man was seriously injured when they were struck by a commuter rail train in #Natick early Friday.
The incident happened at 5:30 a.m. at the #SpeenStreet crossing, between the #WestNatick and #NatickCenter stations.
A 32-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene. A 49-year-old man suffered serious, but not life-threatening injuries, transit police said.
A passenger on the #Framingham /#Worcester train said a conductor made an announcement that two people were struck by a train.
All trains on the Framingham/Worcester line experienced significant delays west of Natick for the morning commute. The #MBTA urged passengers to seek an alternate route.
#KeolisCommuterServices , the MBTA’s operating partner for the commuter rail, confirmed that there was a medical emergency just before the morning commute. “We are working with police and emergency officials as quickly as possible to help minimize the impact on passenger service, and we encourage Worcester Line riders to stay connected with the #Keolis passenger information center to receive updates on specific trains,” Keolis said in a statement.
WCVB will have more information when it becomes available. #TheSavageRoom#Savage

I was driving and looked over to see what I have decided was the most spectacular sunset I've seen in Massachusetts. I quickly turned around and rushed back to the only vantage point along the road where the view wasn't obscured by trees and road signs. I took my camera out from my trunk (I always have a camera on me or in my car for the moments in time like this.) As I shot I noticed some people in a boat, completely overwhelmed by the view they put their fishing rods down, stopped the boat, and dropped anchor. I only shot a few pictures before becoming overwhelmed myself and put my camera down, deciding that some moments are best experienced and not captured. As color left the sky I got back in my car and carried on with my day in awe.
