Oil pulling: so wonderful for removing bacteria from the mouth and throat, I use coconut with a drop of peppermint essential oil. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Celtic salt gargle: I do 6 x 30 second gargles in the morning and evening. Add 1tbsp of organic celtic salt to 2 cups of hot water to dissolve. This helps with eliminating the bacteria but it's a life saver for the pain for me too! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

-deep breathing to prevent secondary pneumonia which can develop due to shallow breathing from pain

As part of my detox, I have been dry skin brushing once a week. This helps to improve blood circulation around the body, assisting in efficient transportation of nutrients and elimination of toxins. The brushing also helps to shed dead skin cells and promotes the growth of new skin cells for cleaner and clearer looking skin. It also helps to tone up your nervous system and by unclogging pores, you allow your skin to make the most of nutrient absorption.
Dry skin brushing is just one of the two ways I love to make the most of my skin care during detox.
