Geralmente uso os seguintes temperos: cúrcuma, páprica, orégano, sal rosa, óleo de coco, pimenta do reino, cebola, alho...
O pinhão eu descongelei e cortei em pedaços pequenos.

This weekend we lost my Nan.. The woman who gave me my beautiful eyebrows and petite and long fingers and small nose. Out of everyone in the family, she loved science the most. She was really excited about the thought of her granddaughter going to study it at probably the best university to study science in Australia. It's heartbreaking to watch the people you love in pain and it hurts to know that if she had been diagnosed with her health problems earlier she could have had the treatment she needed to extend her life. Today I bought a lamp for my desk and sat down to continue to study. University doesn't stop for anyone and if anything, her passing motivates me even more to do what I'm doing. I will always carry her with me 💕
Denumirea de aspirină reprezintă numele sub care compania germană Bayer a produs pentru prima dată acest medicament. Aspirina, care face parte din categoria analgezice, antipiretice, antiinflamatoare, a devenit atât de cunoscută încât denumirea este folosită pentru toate medicamentele care conţin acid acetilsalicilic, ne explică prof. dr. Ion Fulga.
AVANTAJELE ASPIRINEI: ANALGEZIC, ANTIPIRETIC ŞI ANTIINFLAMATOR
Aspirina este utilizată pentru efectul analgezic (calmează durerea), efectul antipiretic (scade febra) şi efectul antiinflamator (reduce inflamaţia).
Prof. dr. Ion Fulga subliniază şi efectul anticoagulant al acidului acetilsalicilic: „Aspirina este eficace în profilaxia accidentelor vasculare la bolnavii cu cardiopatie ischemică. În acest scop se administează doze foarte mici: sub 100-70 mg, o dată pe zi sau de două-trei ori pe săptămână”.
Pentru calmarea durerii şi scăderea febrei se utilizează doze moderate: 300-500 mg acid acetilsalicilic/doză.
Pentru efectul antiinflamator se administrează 2 grame de acid acetilsalicilic/24 de ore.
DEZAVANTAJELE ASPIRINEI: LEZIUNI GASTROINTESTINALE
Dintre efectele negative, pe primul loc se află agravarea bolilor gastrointestinale, a ulcerului gastrointestinal, căruia îi întârzie vindecarea sau favorizează apariţia complicaţiilor (hemoragii digestive), atrage atenţia prof. dr. Ion Fulga. Potrivit specialistului, efectele adverse ale aspirinei sunt dependente de doza administrată. Cu cât doza este mai redusă, cu atât riscurile sunt minime sau invers. Cele mai mari riscuri sunt produse atunci când aspirina este utilizată ca antiinflamator. În schimb, când este administrată pentru prevenţia infarctului şi accidentelor vasculare cerebrale, efectele adverse sunt absente.
Pentru a se limita efectele adverse, prof. dr. Fulga spune că aspirina este bine să se administreze pe stomacul plin, iar în cazul utilizării ca antiinflamator să se asocieze cu un medicament antiulceros.
It's funny how the universe always knows best!
At the beginning of this year I set my intentions up for a year of 'growth' and my goodness did I hit the ground running. I was charging full steam ahead! Starting my career by landing a job on the health industry, working back to back at things that I loved and studying my little heart out day in day out.
It wasn't until the universe literally tapped my on the shoulder (or ankle 😏) mid way through a snow boarding lesion to tell me to pull those brakes on!
A quick lose of my balance and I ended up with a fractured lateral malleolus that placed me in a boot and crutches for the next 6 weeks.
Although my hectic lifestyle had come to a holt.... the growth seamed to flourish! It was over the next few weeks that I had time to self reflect and gain back some self awareness that easily gets lost in today's busy lifestyles. Everything happens for a reason, you just need to dig deep enough to figure out why!

Baking soda, also known as Sodium Bicarbonate has an array of health benefits. It is a naturally occurring substance which is part of the mineral Natron.
Although it has numerous benefits.. I want to focus on its benefits on the gut ! INDIGESTION, ACID REFLUX, BLOATING to be specific:
• Baking soda when mixed with water & consumed helps to elevate heart burn . This water mixture works by immediately neutralising stomach acid helping to relieve indigestion & even ulcer pain. Combine 1 teaspoon with a glass of water & consume every 2 hours.. Depending on the severity. PLEASE NOTE: Do not have more than 5 teaspoons of baking soda a day. • It helps to prevent waking up with a hangover if there has been excessive alcohol consumption the night before by neutralising the acidity caused by the alcohol. Just mix 1 teaspoon in a glass of water.. & drink before bed.
I swear by this stuff as my family & I use it whenever we feel the need too.. So talking from personal experience, it works :) Carry it with you when you travel cause that's when people have the most indigestion & stomach issues.. and they can get really uncomfortable!! Trust me, I know the pain🙈 . That being said, Baking soda is 'not' the cure all for your stomach issues like indigestion, heart burn & bloating.. You have to eventually change your eating habits.. eat more fresh fruit & vegetables, Drink more water & eat more hydrating foods.. Eating a plant based, whole food diet with minimal oil & sugar will ensure that your digestive issues are gone for good!! I am a walking testimony to it! As a former digestive issue patient.
Please do not confuse 'Baking Soda' for 'Baking Powder' . Baking Soda is the one with the healing properties .
Feels good to be free from the discomfort that not so healthy food causes.

A little recreation of yesterday's breakfast, but for dinnner! And a couple of changes. Eggs over broccoli sautéed in butter & garlic + slices of roast pumpkin (done earlier), with blobs of homemade hummus & toasted seeds. Yummmm.😚👌
I never would have thought to combine these things all together. But that was so GOOD!😍
And the great thing is that it is a highly nutritious meal. Lots of protein & micronutrients from the eggs, hummus & seeds. And so much more nutrition from the pile of broccoli & slices of pumpkin. And then we have our delicious healthy fats - in this case from a good quality butter (& also the eggs & seeds). 🍳🌿🎃🌰
And not a grain or gluten to be found! (Which is ok sometimes, but a lot of people have difficulty digesting these). In my house, we limit grains & keep the protein & vegetables up.👍

Turmeric quinoa and buckwheat porridge with cinnamon caramelised apple, sprinkled with amaranth pops and cacao nibs 😍 😍 😍 I can't do oats, they bloat me too much so quinoa is the perfect alternative as it gives me so much energy!
