For Texture and Transformation Tuesday im sharing my youngest daughters beautiful ringlets 😍 she will be 2 next week 🎉 and her curls have changed so much over the past year! Swipe swipe to see her hair this time last year... it was slightly curly ... never did I imagine that her Curls would blossom into these gorgeous bouncy ringlets!! The pictures don’t even show how beautiful they really are... she never sits still to catch a great texture shot 🤦🏾♀️ i posted back in June asking for product recommendations as I was really struggling to find something that worked. Everything seemed to be to heavy and weigh her curls down. @myluxekids recommend the @curls Ring Around the Curlies leave in... and was so kind enough to send us out one to try. since June it’s the only product we’ve been using!! It works amazing for her hair... it’s lightweight but provides amazing moisture. It has Aloe Juice, Sunflower oil, jojoba oil and olive oil. This product is our staple and I cannot say thank you enough for recommending it to us! We use it when needed to refresh her curls... and it works on both dry or wet hair. I used to find she would have a ton of frizz and fine fly away hairs... but this product controls it!

Fourth day hair, not my favorite but made it work. Many of you beauties said that the biggest problem with second and third day hair was the frizz. It’s usually not bad on the second day but the third and fourth day it starts to get out of control. I know many of the curly hair influencers don’t touch their hair at all, but for me I do what I have too. Yesterday my third day hair was a mess on the top so I lightly damped that area and added some product and helped curl some curls that need help. Today my ends were nothing but frizz, so I just re-wet my ends, combed them and applied product to that area. There is really no right or wrong way to restyle your hair, I’m no expert but I experiment, try new things and see what works for me, and it’s usually never the same. So keep trying and don’t give up. #everydaymotivate
D E F I N I T I O N from using @kriyabotanicals low porosity leave in conditioner & Curl pudding 💛 Blog post coming soon!
For my twists, I used @mielleorganics products, extra virgin olive oil, and a bit of Jamaican Black Castor Oil. I did the L.O.C.O Method on freshly washed/damp hair when twisting each section... & yes you read that right lol, I said LOCO:
1. Leave in Conditioner
2. Oil (Moisturizing oil, like extra virgin olive oil)
4. Oil (Sealing oil, like JBCO)
This is basically a variation of the common LOC method, but instead I use a thicker oil to seal my hair after putting in the cream.
I learned from trial and error that this helps my hair retain the most moisture 💦 Sometimes you have to play around with your routine to see what works best for YOUR hair!
Back home for the break🏠 I’ll be taking Detroit appointments from December 22nd-31st, text me! | @hairbyramoni

Be a phoenix. Be ashes. Burn down. Resurrect. Let go of the idea that you must always be who you have always been."
