Painting day 🖌Can't wait till the tape comes off and the cabinet doors go back on. The place already looks better than the medley of factory beiges it came with, despite our ever present clutter which, counterintuitively, was a byproduct of getting rid of 2/3 of our stuff and moving into a 17-foot RV. Ha. Much easier to appear "minimalist" when I had space to spare. Just another shift of perspective I'm grateful for on this journey.
day 30 - up late record
tom waits - the heart of saturday night
fitting because I’m up past midnight finishing stranger things. always associated tom waits with night music. been too long since ive listened to this one.
The moment everyone has been waiting for: our bus color!! After some tedious prepping, and fighting against the weather, Dave finally got most of the bed liner job all done! Slate grey and lighter grey for the roof were the choices. This material made of polyurea gives the bus a solid structure, and seals any possible leaks. We will remove the remaining tape, paint some lines and details, and it should be all ready on the outside!!
