We’ve made it to 10 episodes! And this one is a real cracker. We hosted a night @rapha soho for the launch of @threebackpockets brilliant new book. We spoke with @oliverknight about the process behind the book, his collection, cycling jerseys past and present and much more. We were also joined by some of the collection from @jsprdd88 which was stunning. Jasper has an awesome collection of jerseys and we hope to speak to him on the podcast soon. So, enjoy episode 10, like, comment, subscribe and if you fancy rate and review on the iTunes as it really helps us out. ✌🏻❤️

WARNING: CONTAINS SOME SPICY GORE. The most difficult part of being a parent for me, is walking alongside your ‘child’ through disappointment. For our family, elite and age group sport can be brutal on the emotions – you watch your kids train and perform out of their skin, but then shit can happen and, well, enter the ‘disappointment’ emotion. At last night’s Monday Night Racing, it was announced to those riders present that Ella had made it into the Cycling New Zealand Elite Women’s Road Cycling Team to race at several UCI events in Australia in January. Less than a couple of hours later, she was in Dunedin Hospital being told she would require surgery on her arm as basically the tricep muscle and fractured ulnar/joint needed to be wired back together. All down to an accident in the race’s sprint finish at 51kph (thanks Strava) which brought her down, the cause of which remains a mystery. Fortunately for Ella, and for us as concerned parents, she’s one of the most stubborn and determined young women I have ever come across and I am so damn confident that while the timing sucks, she will pull out all stops to get to Australia come January. I'm so damn proud of my kids – and of any athlete – who sets themselves a goal, and has to deal with whatever fickle hand is dealt to them along the way, whether it’s selection, form or health. You’re all frikkin amazing in my view. 🙌
