My absolute favourite thing to do is to make gifts for people rather than buy them. My brother and his family moved in to a new house this weekend and they are all so happy there which is lovely to see. Rather than buying the usual 'moving in' type present I made this for them (The 24 is for their new house number 2️⃣4️⃣). My poor family are going to end up with all 'home made' Christmas presents at this rate 😂.... I hope you've all had a wonderful Sunday doing things that you love ❤️
🚨 Long post, but please read for important info ☺️👇🏻
Had a lovely afternoon at the pub eating Sunday dinner with one hand while trying to restrain a feral baby with the other 🤗 all hail the teething necklace for stepping up and entertaining littlun when Mum forgot to pack any toys 🤦🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️
I did a little experiment this weekend and was a lot less active than usual on here to see if it helped me relax (something I’m really struggling to do) and allowed me the space and time to put together some real purposeful planning for the week. Any other Insta-shop owners will know that it can be difficult to set boundaries between work and life, especially when your work is on your phone and you could quite literally be doing it at any time of the day or night! Working in this way is a huge blessing, and I absolutely love it more than I’ve loved any job, but it can feel overwhelming at times and I never really feel fully switched off 🙅🏻♀️
So, long story short, I’ll now be closed on Sundays - no “just nipping” in the inbox, no taking orders, but maybe the occasional post if I feel like it ☺️ if anyone else has been struggling in the same way, or can relate to what I’ve said, I strongly encourage you to structure your week in a similar way if you can! I’m feeling super duper refreshed after today ❤️
Is there anything cuter than seeing your eldest take on their older sibling roles? 😍

It’s the most wonderful time of the year.
I’m so excited about Christmas this year now that Amelia is old enough to get a little more excited about all the lights, presents and festivities.

So I know it’s not Thanksgiving yet, BUT Let’s make a plan for what we can do after Turkey Day to get back on Track! 🍗
I love Thanksgiving and I love all the food and drinks that comes with it, I fully intend to Gobble till I wobble Thursday, but I don’t want Thanksgiving to roll into Christmas. I want to get back on Track for that month in between.
✖️Do you? Are you looking for a way to get back on track?
✖️Do you struggle with self-control and not over doing it when temptation is around?🙋🏻♀️
✖️Do you feel like you keep starting diets or nutrition plans and it feels like nothing sticks or you keep falling off track?
✖️Have you ever considered trying they superfood drink, Shakeology but you didn’t want to commit to a whole month?🤷🏻♀️
Well that is exactly what this 5 day mini group is for!!!
I want you to have the chance to see what a week of healthy living and drinking superfoods will make you feel like. I want you to see what a week of accountability and community support will make you feel like. I want you to see that we were not meant to do things like this on our own!👯♀️
I promise you if you just take a risk, and give this a try, you will FEEL different. .
I am going to help you get back on track. You don’t have to go it alone. You don’t have to feel like crap until the new year. Let’s make our health a priority together! And feel a little less alone in the journey!!

My fave day to get into the gym! Last week I KILLED it with 5 sweaty sessions in a row I felt fan-bloody-tastic 💦 Time to repeat 💃🏼 #watchmework @teampowerfit_
Today we spend two minutes with Liv Lundelius, @liv_lundelius mama to Faye, aged 6 months. Liv shares her thoughts on the topic of self care on the blog today. Link in bio. Thanks so much Liv for your time. 💕
We thought we'd say Hi! We are 3 mums with 4 out of 5 of our kids having Cows milk protein allergy. After nearly 4 years of riding the dairyfree train we wanted to share some of the things we've learned along the way as well as the things that didn't go quite as well. So many parents spend days, weeks or even months struggling with a baby with colic/reflux/extended crying when a diagnosis of CMPA could be the answer. This pic is of a tiny Robyn struggling with the pain and back arching reflux of CMPA. Before diagnosis she was on rantitidine, omeprazole and baby gaviscon. All our babies had varying symptoms from poo explosions, to eczema, reflux to not sleeping. Sleep deprivation and crying reached epic levels and life was not easy. Within one to two weeks of eliminating all dairy (and soya for some) the change was extraordinary. We'd love to meet more mums and hear your experiences. #cmpa#cowsmilkproteinallergy#dairyallergy#dairyfree#newmum#newbaby#baby#reflux#colic#isitcolic#cryingbaby#persistentcrying#breastfeeding#breastfeedingcmpababy#breastfeedingmama#nomilk#nodairy
Nothing beats an open fire and a cardboard box at great Nanny and grandads house .
We’ve spent the weekend with friends and family and it’s been so lovely but also tiring .
I usually ask people to come to us for this reason 😂 lame I know. Any other parents prefer to host? Or just me?
Here's to sourcing as much as I can from independent stores this festive season. I know from first-hand experience how independent sellers, especially those who hand make each and every item, will do little happy dances each time an order comes through! Let's spread the joy 💜
Thank you @hollytucker for bringing this to the forefront!
I’ve been fortunate enough to get a lot of new likes and followers over the past couple of weeks! Thank you!
So here’s what I do! Personalised blankets are my very favourite things to make!
Here’s just a few of my favourite pictures! Get in touch soon to order for Christmas!
Do you work out on Sundays or usually take a rest day?? I get asked a lot if I workout everyday — my answer is the same : all depends on the program I follow!
If a rest day is built in, I take it. If not, I don’t. Welcome to my type A personality 😁
This current program is 21 days straight of 30 min workouts, but I do get to do yoga on Sunday instead of something high impact.
It’s been crazy long since I’ve done yoga and my body was CRAVING it today 🙏
Today's theme; rest, recovery and quality time with family. Too often I want to just cram everything into my day and feel guilty if I don't get out to exercise or tick several things off my ever growing to-do list. I am sure I'm not alone. This morning I had a lovely lie in and snuggles with my baby girl, a relaxed family lunch and luckily a very chilled journey back to London on the train (even travelling solo with a three month old). I think we all need to press the pause button sometimes, enjoy spending time with our family, simply being in the moment and showing gratitude for what we have. The gym, work and personal admin will all still be there tomorrow but for now I'm enjoying some quality cuddles with my bub 💙🙏😊 #sunday#rest#relaxation#reset#reflection#balance#mindfulness#wellbeing#wellness#sleep#refuel#recovery#healthy#fit#fitness#fitfam#fitblog#mum#newmum#postnatallife#fitmum
We’re off to Nelson on Wednesday morning for a family wedding, our online store will remain open and orders can still be placed BUT they won’t be dispatched until I’m back on Friday 1st Dec. So if you’re after something be sure to get your order placed before Tuesday 12pm to ensure there’s no delays.
Did you give up work when you had a baby? ⠀
I did. ⠀
I got made redundant on maternity leave would you believe?! ⠀
I saw this as an opportunity to spend my baby girl's early years as a stay at home mum and really bond with her. Which was great in principle, but…⠀
It wasn't great for my emotional health. I started to get bored spending all my time with a baby. I didn’t have any stay-at-home mum friends so I was alone 5 days a week. Clock-watching, waiting for my other half to come home. I also really struggled with losing my financial independence. I hated living on my husbands income. It felt so old fashioned! And it started to eat away at my self worth. I hadn’t ever planned on relying on a man for money and here I was, doing exactly that. Don’t get me wrong, he didn’t mind at all! And he certainly didn’t hold it over me, or make me feel bad. This was all my own issue! ⠀
Going back to full time employment wasn’t an option for me. I really wanted to be home more than that for my daughter oh AND I'd just found out I was pregnant again. Not an ideal candidate for a job right?⠀
Starting my own business was a huge turning point for me. By starting my own business I had the best of both worlds, I chose my own hours, I started to bring in my own money, I felt a sense of purpose and productivity for something outside of managing the home and it felt wonderful. ⠀
4 years on and not only am I a health coach for mums, I am helping other mums to set up their own nutrition businesses. I only have space to mentor 3 mums each month to get their business off to a flying start and I currently have 2 spaces left for November. ⠀
Would you like to get back your financial independence without having to go back to full time work? ⠀
I’m hosting a call on Tuesday evening at 8pm for you to find out more about how we help mums take back their financial independence through building their own nutrition business. Comment below or message me for details on how to join the call.
