Yesterday I attended a huddle hosted by wonderful ladies from Women's March Colorado and March On Denver and met lots of other local activists and got to hear lots of different perspectives on what we need to do next. The consensus though was we all need to find a way to work together and oust this administration. Special thanks to Rio Grande restaurant for accommodating us!
007 - We know that no one ever seizes power with the intention of relinquishing it. Power is not a means; it is an end. One does not establish a dictatorship in order to safeguard a revolution; one makes the revolution in order to establish the dictatorship. The object of persecution is persecution. The object of torture is torture. The object of power is power. Now you begin to understand me. -George Orwell, 1984. #makeamericahateagain#liarinchief#womensmarch#notmypresident#neveragain#newresistance

Well, the author let the cat out of the bag: illustrations by Paolo Vino are featured in the new Crime Travelers books and the publisher is allowing me to offer a sneak peak.
Paul and I collaborated on a series of maps for each story to help his young readers visualize the international character of the Crime Travelers world and the exact localities of the adventure.
In "Brainwashed", Lucas Benes and his New Resistance cohort face a series of exciting actions across the city of Paris fending off the evil intentions of The Good Company (it isn't).
If you are a parent, teacher or librarian, and you want to expose your young charges to world geography in a kid-friendly environment that will keep them reading...Crime Travelers is your ticket.
I just can't help myself, IG friends; I'm caught up in the excitement!
Flying Solo Press has just announced the official launch date (May 2) for the second book in the Crime Travelers series: "Diamonds Are For Never".
The author is my good friend Paul Aertker, a local Denverite, with a passion to inspire kids reading...especially in the 10-11-12 age range where children often lose their original interest in reading.
As a former teacher, Paul incorporates more than adventure in his mysteries: the books are full of world geography based on his personal experiences in many of the featured localities.
So, if you want to know what this picture is all about (and...I hope you do), I invite you to visit the Crime Travelers website (www.crimetravelers.com) and click on the home-page video.
Then look around and see what cool things Paul is offering in his books. Hint: Illustrations by...
