"Zajeżdżam organizm padam,dyszę,kocham to
nie przestane za nic za bardzo wyjebanym jestem ziooom
mięśnie mnie bolą a zakwasy , na czole pot
Boże daj mi zdrowie bym to robił kolejny rok
i póki zdrowie pozwala mi chcę mieć więcej
endorfiny w mojej krwi.
Chcę więcej takich dni gdy padam z wycieńczenia
jutro wstanę rześki żeby się zajechać
ekstremalne trwanie siada mi na banie w Stopro klanie
nowy dzień nowe zadanie barier przekraczanie."
I ran #TheGhostRace tonight. If you haven’t done a virtual race before, I highly recommend it. The race factor gave me the motivation to sustain the pace going into the last two miles rather than easing off. My side was stitching, I was mouth breathing like an animal, and my eyes were barely open in the last 400m but I got it done because I felt that sense of competition. But here’s the bonus for me: I didn’t have to shuffle past the starting line like a herd of cattle mooooving along at a snail’s pace.
I don’t think I would have been here if I hadn’t heard about it from the @concreterunners. Sadly, I arrived late (showed up at the wrong place at the start time) so the CRew was already out on the course and they were gone by the time I got back. But I’m pretty sure one of the fellas in the squad saw me as I was on my way outwards, mistook me for someone else by the name of Joe(?) and shouted out some words of encouragement. Now I may not be Joe(?) but his smile and kind words still put a grin on my face as I hustled through the course.
Which leads me to this thought: I want to run with Concrete Runners Season 5 because I believe we all need support, whether we care to admit it or not. Concrete Runners, from what I can tell, seem like a very supportive, engaging community. I remember when I completed my first marathon (SF) a couple months ago, they were rolling deep with their cheer squad about a mile from the finish line. Maybe they stood out to me because of their size, or their slick apparel with the Futura Condensed Extra Black typeface (very Nike), or maybe it’s because I see this supportive community affiliation so strong on social media, but it appeals to me. So why not try something new?
I haven’t gone #running for two weeks and a day because of a stupid cold that’s still hanging on. But I’ve been itching to go, so I went out for 5 miles tonight. Felt great to get back at it. We’ll see if I jumped the gun. It’ll either make it worse or burn it out. #sweatacold#nightrunner#nightrun#exercise#healthylifestyle#justdoit#run @run.fanatics @runnersgonewild @runnersworldmag @running_life_inspiration @runningworld @runningterritory @worlderunners @asics @underarmour @mapmyfitness
