RAIN DANCES EXPLODING IN THE DARK 💜
Fires before the flood. 🌑
Burning hearts through the green, a dance desperate for the sky's sweet solace of water. 💚🌲🌈
Pregnant with purple sky she fills up, like a kettle waiting to call it.
I sit steaming, a mild umber... transfixed by her plight. She's mad at us, for our worldly abuse. I can't blame her.
The rumbling midnight waves of lightning gather with solidarity.
A North wind bellows.
My rouge mirror of perfect flat sand shines up at me, like glass so I lay on the Earth, and wait. ((Hope)) has many forms, if you can only listen. 💥
The rain comes slowly at first, little drops begin to hit my wilted petals. Then like a giant ballon belly was ripped open in the sky... torrential downpour blankets these sleeping junipers awakening their sweet smell.
I am the thunder, I am these droplets of rain swallowing hat hair. Sweat beads from my hung head, drowns my sorrowful eyes in black. How often, have I been saved from having to lean? 🖤
Home again, I seek refuge in the cave of my bathroom. Drenched, sopping... sitting on the sink, black pants peal from shivering skin like they wanted to become it.
No haste in these strokes of time, pushing will only further escalate the inevitable happenings of your life. But we can dream. 💥
We can run. We can seek meaning in the darkest hours of night.
I #celebrate#nightswims with my family. I celebrate spontaneity and living life in the moment. I celebrate the joyful smile on my son's face when he hears the word 'swim' (the one time I don't spell it when talking to his father). I celebrate daily physical activity and family fitness. I celebrate doing laundry each day and the feel of warm fresh towels. I celebrate floating effortlessly while gazing up at the stars. I celebrate leaving to-do items on the list and choosing to make memories instead.
There are a few things that I get to learn so far,
One is that, go ahead and work for your dreams,
Second is never be afraid of failures,
And lastly, appreciate your moments since you can never get it back!
