Yesterday’s training: After the challenges and workout at Centercourt, my body was hurting so took it easy and hands now need a few days rest. Freerunning class, wearing my favorite @impracticaljokersofficial shirt at @pinnacleparkour Cherry Hill doing some round offs into vaults (I need more practice so it flows better- I do not look like a free runner lol), spinning log practice (video in slow motion to show you foot placement that I picked up from a ninja. I set the timer for 5 minutes and ran for 5 minutes fast across it. It’s easy to do obstacles when you’re rested but a different story when you’re winded and you never know if an obstacle will be at the beginning or end of a course. I would have done longer but my ankle was tweaked and was able to finally get it back into place so had to take it easy once that happened so it would stay there), stretching out my back (this is the most important thing for my back. We spend all day compressing our back/ putting pressure on it and it needs stretched out. Notice my feet are not hooked- this is so gravity can pull down from my hips and my feet are not taking any of the force away. My hands are only on the ground for balance- there is no weight on them and after having for 5-10 min, I twist side to side slowly to loosen everything up, reverse sit ups are to work the opposite muscles of all the ab workouts. Yesterday’s training: Amazing workout and lots of FUN with AwEsOmE ninjas at @scarred_ninja ‘s gym - @centercourtclubandsports in Lawrence, NJ! Games, courses, ninja’ing around, and lots of learning. I had a lot of firsts: caught the wing nut, completed one jumping bar, Big Dipper wipe out, circuit board work, figured out the technique on a bunch of other obstacles, and mentally pushed myself to new levels (this is a huge part of being a ninja). We played devil step tag.. I got 1.5 devil steps (up and down the ladder is one) and @matt_strollo was the winner after 13 minutes when naj fell on his 19th devil step!!!! Don’t worry, naj got his redemption when he beat Matt in a thumb war on the devil steps in less than 8 Sec. Tiebreaker to take place in the future 😂. @melodyschofield was the ultimate thumb war champ. We also did a push up game where you do one additional push up than the person before you. I tapped out on my 142nd push up, and Melody won with 165!!!! I also did a lot of spider wall training and warped wall training by standing on the 11 foot wall and running up with no run. I did over 30 11 foot warped walls at the end. @ryan_elhalim was in my Instagram video as he wanted to be. @aspiring_human Was able to ninja with us also and taught me the technique for the cliff hanger transfer and 180 transfer. @the.flying.phoenix did an awesome, cool trick (last video). This is my new goal! My narrators 😂🤦🏻♀️ they were making fun of me so bad because I was freaking out about this part we played on towards the end of our training session last night. For some reason having a bummed shoulder AND being up super high was makin me trip 😂 I got light headed and everything because I wasn’t confident do to this silly arm of mine which is getting MUCHO better! In that moment I realized the obstacle had beat me already and I couldn’t have that.. SO, I went for it anyways, I committed to it 100% aside from my fear and use of feet to grab the bar. It is in those moments of fear we have to make a choice, to grow or forfeit and give up. I want to grow, I need to grow. And if I fail, try again and again until I succeed. I want to grow and reach my greatest potential. Without trying and failing we will never know what we are truly capable of. I want to know by the end of each day I did my very best, knowing I committed and tried, that’s what makes it possible for me to sleep at night. Failing and giving up are completely different entirely. Out of the 2 I choose to fail. What do you choose? LETS GROW .

Crazy 3 day weekend, competed on Saturday, helped host a competition at @ninjabefit on Sunday, and I went to the @neighborhood_ninjas event on Monday. I was exhausted this morning, but I was excited for the future.
