No bake oatmeal protein bars. 💥Ingredients
2 scoops Chocolate Shakeology
1 cup egg white powder
2 cups dry old-fashioned rolled oats
2 tbsp. wheat germ
2 tbsp. flax seed
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 cup. unsweetened almond milk
1/4 cup raw honey
1/4 cup all-natural almond butter
2 large ripe bananas mashed
Nonstick cooking spray
Instructions
Combine Shakeology, egg white powder, oats, wheat germ, flax seed, and cinnamon in a larg bowl; mix well.
Add almond milk, honey, almond butter, and bananas; mix well with a spatula or clean hands.
Place in an 8 x 8-inch pan that is lightly coated with spray. Cover with plastic wrap and press down to flatten into pan. Refrigerate for 3 hours.

I made a batch of the Dark Chocolate and Cherry Energy Bars from my cookbook because the next couple of days I'll be on planes and buses and what have you (Toronto today, Atlanta tomorrow). Funny thing is I didn't have enough pistachios so I subbed in 1 cup of homemade granola. Result: amazing! Almost better than the original! So hab ich sie gemacht:
150g Haferflocken, 3EL Proteinpulver (neutral, vegan), 1EL Chiasamen, 1EL Nussbutter (hier selbstgemachtes Mandelmus♡), 50ml Pflanzenmilch, 3-4 Datteln für die Süße. ****▼▼▼****
Alles mixen, auf einem kleinen Blech oder in einer beliebigen Form verteilen und schön fest reinpressen, dass es eine feste Pampe ergibt. Für mindestens zwei Stunden in den Kühlschrank stellen und danach in Form schneiden. That's it! ☆

Fazit: lecker und... trocken! :D definitiv Geschmack fehlt, ein paar Nüsse oder dunkle Schokolade würden das Ganze wahrscheinlich abrunden. Ich empfehle euch es mit mehr Nussbutter zu versuchen.

Cool for 30mins.

Cut and enjoy. --- *I used an equal mix of cashews and walnuts ** if you use medjool dates then you won't need to soak them but be sure to remove the stone!

Toch even: het recept van deze heerlijke dadeltaart van @bagelsbeans Hij staat overigens ook op hun website! Ik maakte een halve hoeveelheid (zie onderstaand recept), omdat mijn lieve vriendje zegt dat hij niet van dadel houdt en ook niet van kokos.. 😅

Anyway, komt ie, nodig:

250 gram dadels, ontpit en in reepjes gesneden
125 gram roomboter
75 gram bruine basterdsuiker
1 handje walnoten in stukjes
0.5 rol mariakaakjes in stukjes van ongeveer 1 x 1 cm
1 ei
1 eetlepel karamelsiroop (staat bij de suiker en koffie😉)
Kokosstrooisel voor garnering

Wat doe je:
1. Pak een pan, laat hier de boter in smelten. Als de boter gesmolten is, doe je de suiker erbij zodat deze een beetje oplost.
2. Eitje los kloppen en toevoegen. Roer het even door. Dan de karamelsiroop erbij en weer even roeren.
3. Dadel erbij, roeren (verrassing) en een minuutje door koken. 
4. Koekjes erbij en weer roeren! Of eigenlijk wordt het nu scheppen. Walnoten mogen er dan ook doorheen en dan nog een minuutje door koken.
5. Alles in een cakeblik storten dat is bekleed met bakpapier. Strijk het glad met de achterkant van een lepel zodat het een beetje verdeeld is. Dan lekker een tijdje afkoelen in de koelkast (ongeveer 1,5 uur). Als hij is afgekoeld kan de kokos er overheen.

Ordinarily I'm not that big of a fan of the microwave.  I have one purely for the convenience of reheating  something when in a hurry.  After more than s month without a kitchen however I was very tempted when I saw this recipe from @geniuskitchen especially since it uses Flaxseed (which is supposed to aid milk supply).

My version varied a little from the original, but that's what's so great - it's very versatile!!

Base Ingredients:
1/4 cup Flaxseed meal
1/2 tsp Baking powder
1 tsp Cinnamon 
1/4 tsp Stevia powder
1 egg
1 tsp coconut oil, melted
.
In my version, I added some Vanilla protein powder in place of the Stevia, which I didn't have.  I also then added the following:
2-3 tsp ground oats
1/2 banana, mushed
3-4 tsp shredded coconut .
Mix everything together in a mug.  Microwave on high for 1.5 mins.  A minute is enough if you just use the base ingredients.

Moist, muffin-like & delicious with butter!! Low carb, and only a subtle sweetness.

Recipe 👉🏼 You will need 2 cups cereal of choice, 1/3 cup + 1 tbsp almond butter (I used @traderjoes brand), and 1/3 cup + 1 tbsp maple syrup. NO 🚫BAKE🔥CEREAL BARS 😍 I used @onedegreeorganics brown rice cacao crisps for these addictive treats, but you can use whatever cereal you want! . . Recipe 👉🏼 You will need 2 cups cereal of choice, 1/3 cup + 1 tbsp almond butter (I used @traderjoes brand), and 1/3 cup + 1 tbsp maple syrup. Put the dry cereal in a large bowl, combine the almond butter and maple syrup in a pan on a stove until it melts. Then, once melted, add to the cereal and mix throughly. Ch ch ch chocolate-y chia 🍫 I've never had the ~best~ luck with chia pudding (it tends to come out too thin or tasting like nothing at all) but wowow am I glad that's changed. This one's loaded with chocolate and coconut and has a perfectly creamy & rich texture (I topped mine with some cacao nibs and bonus bloobs) ✨ RECIPE: In a large jar, combine 1 cup almond milk, .5 cup water, 5 T chia seeds, 3 T raw cacao powder, 2 T maple syrup, 1 T dark chocolate chips, .5 cup coconut flakes. Shake it up and let sit in the fridge for at least 6 hours. Serve cold with your fav toppings ✨

Peanut butter 🥜 and chocolate 🍫 +marshmallows and crispy cereal - seriously why not? 
A easy little #fall2017 recipe. You can do this one with little ones, loved ones, or all alone. Peanut butter #reeses Rice Krispie treats. (Say that 10 times fast) These delicious treats are perfect for parties, kids events, trick or treaters, and even just dessert for the house. 
How to do it? .

6 cups of Rice Krispie cereal 
4 cups of mini marshmallows 
1/2 cup smooth peanut butter
4 tablespoons of butter 
Reese's pieces candy - Melt butter, add peanut butter, once melted together add marshmallows and allow to melt. (Low temperature) - Add cereal to mixture - Add candy pieces to mixture - Put in a mold of your choice and allow to cool for 20 minutes. 
That's it! Quick and simple. But really yummy. 🤤
