Gluten Free and Happy to Be 😃 #myglutenfreelife
Being as we can't have Terry's Chocolate Orange (which I was very sad about!), I was over the moon when I saw in the @coopukfood today that these milk chocolate satsumas have no gluten containing ingredients! Has anybody tried them yet? I'm hoping to leave them for my stocking but I may have to repurchase for then as they're very tempting 😂😍
Sweet potato hash. 😋Using what I had left in my fridge, it ended up consisting of Japanese sweet potato, zucchini, shallots, and some kale from my garden seasoned with salt, black pepper and garam masala. I topped with sliced avocado. Buckwheat waffles (added cardamon and nutmeg to the batter) topped with bananas, sunflower seed butter and vegan powered sugar. 😋#veganglutenfree#dairyfree#glutenfreebreakfast#nutfree#poweredbyplants
The moment we've been waiting for is only a couple days away!! We will be OPEN Tomorrow, baking your pies for Thanksgiving! Apple Pies? Pumpkin Pie? Breads? Hands up if you’re having a Sunday Roast! 🙋♀️🙋♂️ I’m so eager to try both of these from @isabels_freefrom ! I posted a review on the website for their baking fix (which is FAB) and got an email for 10% discount with online orders, so it’s well worth letting them know what you think of the products if you’ve tried them.
🍫NOUVELLE RECETTE 🍫
I tried one of the @coopukfood soups I was kindly sent for lunch yesterday before I went to watch @mammamiamusical at the theater! The soup was delicious and fairly smooth! But I did like the fact that you could tell it was made out of proper vegetables! Mamma Mia was also amazing - one if the best performances I've seen! I cannot wait to try the 3 other soups I was kindly sent - have you tried any of the Co-op soups before? What were your thoughts?
We took a trip upstate to visit @angryorchard today. Why did it take so long to visit this gem in our own state? The free flight was of three of their innovation flavors including Gin Botanical, a cider made with some of the seasonings in Gin! Such a refreshing mini getaway!
💕We sure love our celiac community 💕 With Thanksgiving right around the corner, we wanted to do something a bit different with this Celiac Strong Chat! Why not choose to be thankful for this disease this Thanksgiving? 🙏🏻
1. Read and answer the question below. This time around, every question is the same. The goal is to come up with 4️⃣ different reasons you are thankful. Stretch yourself to remember that gratitude changes you from the inside out.

That’s it! Hooray! You’re done! Thanks for joining us in the season of reasons to be thankful, which absolutely includes a disease that has brought us this celiac community in the first place! 💕
Q: Why are you thankful that you or someone you love was diagnosed with celiac disease?
A: Being diagnosed with celiac, has been one of the most life altering events and I am still finding ways it is making my life exponentially richer. 1️⃣ enormous reason I am thankful for this disease, is that I no longer spend my life feeling emotionally out of control. I’m the healthiest I’ve ever been and am continually recognizing ways gluten played into my depression and emotional volatility. I couldn’t be more grateful for the diagnosis that has quite literally changed my life for the better.
It's that time of the year again! Let the traditions begin! Hot chocolate, with extra marshmallows, and Midel Gluten free ginger snaps! I am so thankful for these! Ginger snaps around Thanksgiving and Christmas has been a family tradition of ours for years! So happy to have them back! They're delicious! ❤️
Mask off.. been gluten free for almost a year trying out lists of things varying diet to suit my body type etc but this was my first attempt at this gluten free bread (dairy free too) which many person fear making. I nailed it. ☺️ proud #glutenfreebaker .
As far as taste goes lol it'll be updated in my stories. It's soft though which was one thing I wanted to get right. 🤙🏽🤙🏽💪🏽
Didn't have a bread pan but that didn't deter me not one bit and that's how we should live life. You don't always have to find the correct method in this case pan to do something great. Once you are optimistic that whatever the conditions you will succeed then your victory is at the end of the tunnel. It's all in the mindset and yeah lol I just gave a life lesson from baking 😂
Rule #1 of Celiac Disease or Food Allergies is BRING YOUR OWN FOOD! It's just easier on a trip to bring your food and not get sick. So this weekend I'll be eating leftover taco/cauliflower rice and egg roll in a bowl! #whole30
Another Mince Pie Showdown! Wasn't a massive fan of this one either - Sainsbury's iced mince pies. They're waaaaay too sweet for me - my mum couldn't finish hers as she just found it too sweet. The mince pie is mild and would be perfect for a child! They're also quite messy, especially if you warm them up. The pastry is crumbly and the icing melts making it go everywhere. So my results are:
1. M&S mince pies
2. Tesco mince pies
3. Lovemore mince pies
4. Sainsbury's mince pies
5. Costa mince pies
6. Sainsbury's iced mince pies
7. Tesco pear pies
8. Aldi mince pies
What are your thoughts on this mince pie? It does have glitter on!!
