I don’t even want to post this but I’m doing it for some motivation. It’s been way too long being lax about my health and fitness journey and I’m ready to make a change. I’m at the highest weight I’ve ever been and some of you followed me when I was at my lowest weight on this journey over 2 years ago. I never thought I would get back to this point but I did and that is my own doing. Yes I struggle with binge eating but this was not all from binge eating. It started with binges and then it turned into months of not caring and then years of being discouraged from getting back to a point I didn’t want to be to today. I️ don’t want my weight to define me but unfortunately in some ways it does. I want to be healthier, happier and yes, thinner. I will get there! Thank you all for sticking with me. I'm so glad I kept sharing my story at 12 months...and 24 months... 😳🙈. But would you look at what happened at 36 months 👀! And now 55 months 😍. If you think this is another post about before and after weight loss, you’re wrong. No, this is a post about balancing blood sugars, improving gut health (not craving sugar to where it CONTROLS you 😂, sleep working, not needing naps, and no racing heart ❤️), AND decreasing systemic inflammation.

As I missed yoga yesterday I decided to do a combination of pilates and yoga to stretch a little.

Today I started off the week by weighing myself! I am not a big fan of the scale. 🚫 It comes with too much stress and doesn't accurately portray the hardwork I have put into becoming a healthier person. I weigh myself to continue seeing progress but not to rely on that as the only measure. Well today I am down another 7.8 pounds which totals my weight loss at 18.8 pounds since starting in September! 🙌🎉 This is the most weight I have ever lost on a program and wanted to keep going! It's a lifestyle change for me not a diet. Changing little things in my life has made a HUGE difference!

THROW YOUR SCALE AWAY!
OK...that may be a bit extreme (or not 😉), but the fact is the number on the scale does not mean a thing.
The phrase, "Muscle weighs more than fat" is NOT true. A pound is a pound. BUT muscle DOES have more density than fat.....a lot more. So a pound of fat takes up more space than a pound of muscle.
Most weight loss systems will go after weight first because they know what people are initially looking for. The problem is that those systems cannot be maintained or the results sustained so they breed a following of "yo yoers". I used to be one of them... PLEXUS on the other hand is a cleansing system that works from the inside out, targets PURE FAT not muscle. You will often lose volume before you lose weight.
The root issues are addressed: weight gain, excess fat, & getting healthy from the inside out. Healthy is the key! You need to drink half your weight in ounces of water every day & be consistent with taking your Plexus products.

So PIYO workout done... this is a mix of yoga & pilates. But with push-ups & burpees. Low resistance but still a sweatfest. And this is what happens sometimes when i workout. I’ll always pause for doggie snuggles🐶
