Walked by this professor's office and his door was open and he wasn't there, and the light was so gorgeous so I had to take a picture (obviously), when a senior research scholar caught me doing that suspicious activity then I had to explain to him that I light was pretty & matched my aesthetic oh god

🐚за прошедшие 24 часа не произошло ровно ничего примечательного, кроме того, что моя мама научилась красиво меня фотографировать с первого раза, что вышло солнце и что, оказывается, я очень люблю бархатный джазовый голос Пегги Ли🐚
The morning you realize Autumn has arrived. She sneaks quickly through the warm night and into the dawn. It is a crisp, sweet morning that is chilly and hushed. The smell of fire burning is fresh traveling from other side of the mountain. There’s goosebumps if you step out onto the porch without a sweater or forgotten socks. The sunlight moves through the trees, you can almost hear the plants groaning grumpily about the unwelcome chill. There’s a sense of refreshment, a time anew. All that you were worrying about yesterday isn’t so important anymore.
I often hear from mothers that want to know how to get rid of loose skin or a stomach that stretches and rolls, which pregnancy often brings for many of us Mamas. The truth is that after 4 babies, I have loose skin of my own. Just as I changed when I became a mother to 4 boys, my body changed as well.
In the picture on the left, I feel STRONG, and in the picture on the right, although my posture is not as flattering, I STILL feel STRONG. A belly that rolls, bends, and stretches doesn’t change that. I am incredibly grateful for the stretching it did to carry 4 amazing blessings.
My fitness journey is much more than getting my body back to what it was before I had my babies. It's about getting my energy, stamina, endurance, patience, confidence, happiness, and strength back. In fact, it’s about becoming stronger than I have ever been because I need more strength now than ever before. This is why I make time for my health and squeeze in exercise within the demands of parenthood, to bring me more strength and because STRENGTH is BEAUTIFUL.💗

the national #bonsai museum is a hidden dc treasure! some of the bonsai have been in training for hundreds of years. incredible, especially considering i barely have enough patience to wait on my coffee maker. the national arboretum and bonsai museum should definitely be on your #dcbucketlist .

One of my favorite places to camp out and work. On any given day, I can sit here and overhear people discussing philosophy, working on writing projects, planning business ventures, and sharing ideas. It's a creative atmosphere (fueled by ever-flowing caffeine) that inspires me to dream bigger and do more. Do you have a work home away from home? Tell me about it! 🦌
