I decided to follow the baby steps and try to take care of One Main formerly known as Spring Leaf because it was the smallest debt. Here is this cards back story 😒 I was enrolled with Credit Sesame and was up to my neck in debt payments and they advertised on the site that I may be eligible for a personal loan, I could consolidate all my debt and that whole speal anout having less payments etc, new me wouldn’t have fallen for this trick but old me did and so I borrowed around $5k if im not mistaken. I was able to pay off all my credit cards and breathe a sigh of relief, (for about 3 months 😞) Because I wasn’t budgeting correctly and hadn’t heard of Dave Ramsey, I didnt fix the root of the problem and I was back to living below my means so I went and borrowed from the credit cards I had previously paid off with this loan. So now I was stuck paying that loan and the credit cards again. I didnt learn my lesson then but I did now which is why Dave and many other people are against these types of consolidations because they dont really fix the problem your just moving debt around. I was suppose to pay off this card December 2018 but I refuse to give these people anymore money in interest anymore. So I am going to try my hardest to pay this account off by this year. Do any of you have a debt consolidation story?
Happy Thanksgiving everyone, but I do have international followers so they don’t really celebrate this holiday so Happy Thursday to you 😘 Made my last payment for the month of November so here is my consumer debt totals for December. I just realized that One Main is actually less than the Capital One card so I may have to pay that off earlier than Capital One. Yes my moms Capital One is technically the smallest but she told me to wait because she cant afford to pay her portion of the credit balance yet until she gets her insurance settlement so I will move on to an account that’s mine. Decisions decisions, I do believe they have the same sort of interest rate so I may try to work overtime and pay off One Main in December but at the same time I have to cash flow $500 for invisalign and $293 for a red light ticket I got back in 2015 😭. Thats $793 but hey that’s life and sometimes you have to rearrange your budget for other things. I will be filming my December budget for you guys as usual to watch on my youtube channel and that’s where I will really get a chance to see everything and see what I can and can’t pay.
There is no way to accurately describe the events of this evening, without either enlisting the use of a novella or a list. So... •cleaning my mom’s house •Watching Gilmore Girls marathon •consumed this beer(I rarely drink(you wouldn’t surmise this if you know me from festival world,) let alone beer.) •made jokes about too much head, after a bad pour, in my head •consumed found stash of Lindt chocolates •great texts from three humans I adore. This was a good night alone. #aloneish#recoveringrecluse#gilmoregirls#mymomlovesbookssodoi#thanksgivingtomorrow#notnormal
This is the amount that I paid towards debt this month including interest. I promise to keep better track at how much I pay every month going forward. I always posted my balances but I think I like the idea of seeing how much I pay towards debt every month also so this will be a new monthly tradition for you guys. Im too lazy to add and subtract for all the other months but I will be doing a post about how much debt I paid off in a year.
