We're kicking off August with another #SafetyCheckin . Make sure your crib mattress fits snuggly within the crib. Extra space can be a hazard for your baby's little limbs to get caught. Keep it snuggly! #SafeSleep#GetYourSheetTogether
We're in love with this dreamy nursery space! We always recommend putting a bed in the nursery even long before your baby will use it. It's another soft landing place for you, another burp cloth and linens station, and a place to nurse side-lying on those really tired days.

Choosing your nursing chair is so important! "Comfort is the ultimate factor when buying as you will definitely be spending lots of time in your chair. The size of the chair is critical. A rocker is an especially great piece of furniture to have in the nursery so you can rock your baby to sleep gently". Here are some tips on selecting a chair! "Winged sides to rest the parent’s head when feeding are worth considering when purchasing your nursery chair.
An ottoman for keeping your feet up is a nice addition for extra comfort, but only if space permits." Check out the full article at : babyology.com #nursery#nurserydecor#nurserytips#moms#babynursery#littlebyogaanddoulastudio#babyology
We're back with another #safetycheckin ! When assembling your crib make sure to use all the pieces and parts. If you have left over hardware, double check that they are extras and not important pieces. #SafelySnuggled#cribsafety
Colour your pasta using ziplock bags, a few spoons of white wine vinegar and food colouring. Leave to dry. Children love coloured pasta, looks fun and inviting giving hours of play. Easy idea using play dough, spaghetti and pasta, threading the pasta through the spaghetti. Great for improving fine motor skills and hand eye coordination. #nurseryinspo#toddleractivities#nurserytips#nurseryideas#finemotoractivity#zenmadeit
So easy to make, pretty duct tape and pvc pipes. Lovely tool for inviting children to use language, also helps with socialising with other children. They can hear what they say which amazes them, they love them. #nurserytips#nurseryinspo#zenmadeit
This Santa was made using a big blown up balloon and a small blown up balloon, tied together to make a body. I used twine dipped in pva glue and wrapped it all around the balloons. Once dry I popped the balloons. Adding the rest of the details using yoghurt drink bottles, felt, ribbon, cotton wool, buttons and a pipe cleaner. #nurseryinspo#zenmadeit#nurseryideas#nurserytips#diysanta
Paper dolls. Children choose who they want as their friends, they cut their pictures out and decorate the bodies. This was part of Friendship week along with a friendship train in the construction area made up of big empty cardboard boxes with hats and flags. We also had friendship soup in the malleable area with gooey spaghetti and the children's faces. The children made friendship bracelets for each other, simple card strips with glitter and Velcro. Encourages children to talk about each other and helps with social skills. #nurseryinspo#nurserytips#zenmadeit
B stands for Baby Bailey as Phoebe was a surprise! 💕 I probably shouldn't share this as there are so many small shops on here but I'm also aware there are many mamas out there on a budget! I made this from picking from a number of free pvc fabrics samples I ordered online, zoomed in on a letter b on my iPad as a template, cut it out and then stuck it in a £1 frame and I love it! For my over the stair box that is phoebes changing station in her nursery I went with a fabric from John Lewis who will along with many other sites will send you up to 5 different samples! Save in one way so you can splash in another that's my motto! #nurseryhacks#nurserydecor#nurseryart#nurserytheme#nurserytips#lifehacks#designtip#bcnov15#bcnov15#ebfbaby#16weeksold
