SALMON + EGG + GREENS OMEGA BOWL •
Perfect for any meal of the day, but it would make an amazing breakfast, lots of good healthy fats, protein, low carb + so so tasty.
It took me 15 minutes to make two portions, one for lunch today and I'll have the rest for breakfast tomorrow. • Marinate salmon (I did mine in grated fresh ginger + coconut aminos - trying it instead of tamari, great if your allergic to soy & gluten) leave for 15-20 mins or so
• Boil eggs for 5 1/2 minutes for perfect yolks
• Toast a handful of pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds + 1 tsp of sesame seeds, set aside
• Pan fry salmon • Steam greens (I had small handful of kale + spinach)
Plate up greens, drizzle with toasted sesame oil + more coconut aminos, sprinkle with your toasted seeds, add salmon + egg + sprinkle of black pepper = best meal ever 💚 (Recipe inspo from the beautiful @xochibalfour)

🏋🏻 Try and watch Fittest On Earth and not get a massive urge to start CrossFit. Go on, I dare you....
👎🏻 The problem with many health documentaries is that they can also be extremely biased, use cherry picked data and be filled with flawed arguments.
🤔 If you watch something on Netflix on health, do some research into the claims. Look for the unbiased science to see if the arguments are actually legit before rushing into making big changes!
🤥 Sensationalism sells. You'd never see a documentary that tells you to follow the 80/20 rule and eat fresh, nutrient dense whole foods for most of the time...it's just not a sexy topic.
