One of the most common ways that we fail at anything in life is by allowing the gremlin or the inner critic to rule.  We all have it, that inner voice that talks to our self doubt and fear. It's a part of us that will always be there, we just need to learn how to recognize it immediately and silence it 👊🏾
This is something I'm working on at the moment so I'll definitely get that 60kg soon 💪🏾

Wait, are you shedding water weight or the burning fat layers?? So what about the stories of those who lost significant amounts of weight in a short time from low carbohydrate diets?  Again an understanding of the science behind how our body works gives us some insight. Carbohydrates are stored in our body as glycogen, which is a combination of glucose and water. When you reduce your carbohydrate intake your glycogen levels will drop and you will lose some of that water in the process. That’s the weight you’ll see lost on the scale but it is all water weight, and does nothing to reduce your fat stores. An effect that is at best temporary and a distraction from the practice of watching your portions and eating in a consistently better fashion with a diet that includes all food groups in sensible quantities. There aren’t any shortcuts and faced with the abundance of so many energy dense foods and our inability to accurately estimate how many calories we consume, it is a difficult task indeed. A slight excess in caloric intake can go a long way as eating only 40 calories more than our daily energy requirements can add an extra 40lbs of fat over the course of ten years. Taking that into consideration and the fact that our ancestors burned off far more calories than we do today due to the rather active nature of staying alive in a world without supermarkets and shopping malls, and of course the superabundant food supply we have today, it becomes a bit easier to understand how our current obesity crisis came about. It might be an uphill battle, but it’s one that can be won with a consistent approach that emphasizes lifestyle change and not immediate weight loss results.

Bem, antes que eu informe a quantidade, vou falar um pouco a respeito do assunto:

De acordo com os dados divulgados pela VIGITEL, no Brasil a quantidade de bebida alcóolica ingerida pela população permaneceu estável de 2006 à 2016.

O consumo excessivo resulta em alterações físicas e psicológicas, podendo levar à dependência, e se em alta quantidade e frequência, o paciente consequentemente poderá apresentar problemas no fígado (ex: esteatose hepática, cirrose), disfunções renais, cerebrais e/ou câncer.

E a recomendação?
Segundo a OMS (2010) não existe um nível seguro para a ingestão do álcool. Cada indivíduo reage de maneira diferente e mesmo em doses adequadas podem apresentar problemas decorrentes ao longo da vida.

Tanto a diretriz brasileira quanto a amaricana, informam que para os que não consomem, não é necessário o incentivo, no entanto para àqueles que não dispensam uma dose é preciso moderação e sugerem até 14g de etanol/dia para mulheres, o equivalente a 350ml de cerveja ou 150ml de vinho ou 01 dose (45ml) de bebida destilada e até o dobro para homens, tendo em vista que a mulher apresenta maior sensibilidade.

É importante saber que em quantidades moderadas e de maneira equilibrada não há problema em consumi-lo.

Vale ressaltar que o uso não é recomendado para quem vai dirigir, está utilizando medicamento, gestantes, menores de idade ou possua alguma patologia que a ingestão posso modificar ou agravar o caso.

Para finalizar o post: Consumir bebida alcóolica pode, desde você não apresente alguma contraindicação, sendo que de forma moderada e respeitando suas permissões.

Been less active on IG on past week because I was focussing on the macros. I should not have prepared meals for a week, now I'm bored with that food.
