Tomorrow marks 16 months of #recovery from bulimia and 1 year of engagement❤️🎉. I've had to overcome my #fear of weight gain (I've gained about 20 pounds), embrace my new healthy body and stay balanced without overdoing it. Exercise, personal development and helping others with their health has been my therapy. Through this journey, I've learned to truly appreciate how incredible the human body is and found what makes it function at its best. Yes, I'm proud of myself and this journey but I'm posting this to hopefully encourage at least one person to never give up or lose hope. If I could do it after 14 years of suffering and struggling to be normal, so can you. It's not about our weight, inches, and all of those little insecurities.. Be unapologetically YOU. I WORKOUT.... FOR MY FUTURE GIRLFRIEND/FIANCEE/WIFE
Implementing a gratitude journal and a inspirations notebook
I started a page called "Why I Workout".
The majority of the women that I have dated have severely broken my heart through infidelity... the few that didn't we ended up not working out in the end. Hence why I have been single for an unusually long time.
The first part of my why (not the only part but a strong reason for sure)...
I WORKOUT FOR MY FUTURE GIRLFRIEND/FIANCEE/WIFE.
This is me putting out into the universe/God my desire to meet a mind blowingly awesome beautiful good-hearted funny loyal intelligent woman with whom I can eventually spend the rest of my life.
My dear special lady: I have no idea who you are ,where you are, or how we will meet. But I can tell you you are a major reason that I work out. Here are a few reasons of many.
So I can be that physically big strong man so you feel safe wrapped up in my arms.
So I can whirl you around the dance floor on our dates and on our wedding day like Cinderella at the ball.
To be able to carry you over the threshold of our new home.
So I live long enough to see our children and grandchildren grow up and still be able to carry you when you are old.
To constantly train myselfl to be ever more disciplined strong and sacrificial. So I will never hesitate in doing anything to make you happy.
To look as good in my tux as you will in your dress so both our jaws drop when we see each other on the wedding day.
To build up my own self confidence and positive body image to be able to ask you out when you show up
To have the physical capacity to go adventuring with you.
I promise you: I'm one of the last true romantic gentleman faithful loyal generous kind... a one-woman kind of man.

Why is it that hormones aren't studied in their entirety? If you are lucky enough you may get your TSH, Estrogen, Testosterone and Progesterone tested, if you're really lucky maybe your Cortisol and DHEA aswell but what about the rest?
The steps to hormonal balance are far greater than the common denominator.
If a patient has low cholesterol, low progesterone, low aldosterone and low DHEA is it possible there is another issue? What about testing for Pregnegolone levels, T3, T4 etc?
If a man has low Testosterone, what about checking DHEA, Cortisol, ACTH, DHT and heaven forbid Estrogen and Progesterone just to name a few.
Time to think outside the box...medicine needs to be intuitive, thorough and investgative not a standard formula.
