After a day of binge eating, if you punish yourself with cardio 😰, try to recover by consuming very little food 💀(or nothing at all), or say “screw it” and dig yourself into a deeper hole 🕳, you’ll just be setting yourself up for more mistakes down the road…

🇮🇹 sono circa otto anni che corro. Ho conosciuto durante la mia esperienza podistica alcuni amici, tanti sostenitori e qualche haters. Da fine 2009 ho pensato che correndo potessi diventare una persona migliore, indipendentemente dal tempo, dal passo, dalla potenza, dalla frequenza cardiaca a cui stessi andando. Oggi però a Crema è stata una giornata speciale. Non tanto perché ho ottenuto il PB per l'ottavo anno consecutivo sulla mezza maratona. Ma per aver conosciuto alcune persone speciali che mi hanno portato a correre la mezza oltre le mie aspettative: 1h11:51, a 3'24" al km di media. Non male a 45 anni! Oppure non ho capito nulla? 🇺🇸 good performance today in Crema, 1h11:51. Never been so fast, at 45 year old. .

Is there anything new I can write about #AvocadoToast?

Probably not, so I’m just going to write down the things I love about it.

1. EASY
Seriously, I can’t think of an easier homemade breakfast. First, you toast bread. Then, you spread avocado and sprinkle stuff on it. Done.

2. FAST
There’s not that much one needs to do to make this breakfast. Refer to the steps written above.

3. HEALTHY
Yes, avocado toast is loaded with fat-not the type that gives you a muffin top, but the good kind. Plus, it’s packed with vitamins C and B-6 so your immune system will be all boosted up.

4. SAVORY
Most days I want something sweet for #breakfast, like a muffin or my absolute favourite oatmeal topped with white chocolate. But sometimes I want something that’s not going to completely spike my blood sugar and make me power-nap ’til lunch. Enter the brilliance of avocado toast.

On Sundays people tend to say "oh I'll start tomorrow" because it's a new week and therefore have a new source of motivation. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The problem is with that is you become somebody who lets the week dictate your desires as opposed to the other way around. Don't see things as just a 7 day cycle. Focus your objectives around long term goals. Let the process of those objectives be your guide. If you fall off from time to time, that's ok because you know that you are constantly working towards the bigger picture. Whatever your goals are. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

B R U S C H E T T A  with ripe vine tomatoes,  fresh basil leaves on toasted Sourdough bread (Or any crispy bread) 🍅
#INGREDIENTS
1️⃣ 6 vine tomatoes 
2️⃣ Handful of fresh basil
3️⃣ Crispy slices of bread
4️⃣ 2 tablespoons olive oil 
5️⃣ 2 cloves garlic 
6️⃣ Salt & Pepper
#METHOD: 
1️⃣ Dice the tomatoes
2️⃣ Crush the garlic
3️⃣ Add all the ingredients into a bowl
4️⃣Toss them all together. Place the baguette slices on a roasting tray
5️⃣ Brush with olive oil on one side
6️⃣ Toast then in the grill until golden brown on both sides. 
7️⃣ Serve the toast with the tomato mixture
8️⃣Drizzle with balsamic vinegar (optional). It might need more salt (tomatoes love salt! Do a taste test first to check!

Reducing calories is actually quite simple. .
1⃣ Increase vegetables Intake and don't be afraid to add loads of them to your meals.

2⃣ Replace carbohydrates with water rich carbohydrates. They will provide more satiety and fill you up a lot more.  This means instead of eating pasta replace it with potatoes (sweet or white) doesn't matter.

3⃣ When you're dieting don't be afraid to volumise your meals with loads of vegetables. You can actually eat more but still consume fewer calories because of the low calorie vegetables.

This means instead of eating pasta replace it with potatoes (sweet or white) doesn't matter. . 3⃣ When you're dieting don't be afraid to volumise your meals with loads of vegetables. This weekend we headed to the beach to celebrate the glorious weather. Normally we'd always have breakfast in one of the restaurants but this time my girls wanted to do a picnic on the beach. 
Now this was massive for us, not the breakfast part but the fact my eldest who has not touched sand for her whole life (not great when you live in the desert 🐪) suddenly had the courage to go forth and not only touch it but eat her breakfast on it! 
We were totally unprepared so I threw some food together at home. I make this cereal daily for the girls and it's totally portable. 
When it comes to breakfast we're always stuck on the same food items, packaged cereal, toast or coffee seem to be the favourites.
So this took less time to put together than cooking a piece of toast and perfect if you don't like oats. In this particular one I mixed.
Brown rice puffs 
Goji berries 
Frozen berries 
Flax seed
Nuts
Chia seeds
Quinoa pops
Dates 
Topped with milk or yoghurt.
Don't be daunted with food like this, go to the supermarket, pick out a few items on this list and try them. Once you start buying these goods you can use them for many different recipes. .

Here's a great recipe to have a kick start this week
 @Regranned from @laur_marks -  Tonight I fancied something warm & wintery for dinner bursting with nourishing flavours 🤗
So I've whipped up: 
A homemade sweet potato, lentil and chickpea curry! 😍 
It tasted amazing and it got top marks off cris also 😝

Super easy to make also, try out my recipe and see how it goes for you! 💁🏼 -Chop 1 red onion and fry at a low heat in olive oil until onions are soft
-Then chop around 4 medium sized Sweet potatoes into cubes, then pre soften them by popping them in the microwave for 5 minutes then add to pan -Add 1 veg stock
( leave to simmer in the pan for around 10-15 minutes / until the potato has softened fully ) -1 tbsp of medium curry powder -1 tsp of cumin seeds -Tin of chickpeas -Tin of mixed lentils
-Chopped tomatoes -Mix throughly and leave for a further 8-10 minutes. -Add a handful of spinach , mix through the curry 
Serve with fresh coriander on top & a side of brown quinoa rice 😋

Here's a great recipe to have a kick start this week @Regranned from @laur_marks - Tonight I fancied something warm & wintery for dinner bursting with nourishing flavours 🤗 So I've whipped up: A homemade sweet potato, lentil and chickpea curry! 😍 It tasted amazing and it got top marks off cris also 😝 Super easy to make also, try out my recipe and see how it goes for you! 💁🏼 -Chop 1 red onion and fry at a low heat in olive oil until onions are soft -Then chop around 4 medium sized Sweet potatoes into cubes, then pre soften them by popping them in the microwave for 5 minutes then add to pan -Add 1 veg stock ( leave to simmer in the pan for around 10-15 minutes / until the potato has softened fully ) -1 tbsp of medium curry powder -1 tsp of cumin seeds -Tin of chickpeas -Tin of mixed lentils -Chopped tomatoes -Mix throughly and leave for a further 8-10 minutes. -Add a handful of spinach , mix through the curry Serve with fresh coriander on top & a side of brown quinoa rice 😋 . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . #cleaneating  #foodgram  #instafood  #healthy  #healthyeating  #nutrition  #foodporn  #foodphotography  #calories  #caloriecounting  #diets  #nutritionable  #nutritioncoach  #nutritionist  #nutritioniskey  #notadiet  #dieting  #almonds  #nutritionist  #fitsporation  #fitspiration  #eathealthy  #chickpeas  #chickpea  #hummus  #vegetarianfood  #veganfood

1.5 cups of raw cashews 
1 cup of pitted medjool dates, roughly chopped 
1 tbsp melted coconut oil 
1 tbsp cacao powder 
1 tbsp plant based chocolate protein powder 
1 tbsp chia seeds 
2 tbsp warm filtered water 
Method:
-Place all ingredients in a food processor, nuts first, and blend until you get a smooth mixture. -Roll into little balls and store in an airtight container in the fridge.
