I'm so happy I took a chance on these shakes 12 months ago! These shakes added exactly what I hoped they would to my diet. It has filled the nutritional gaps that food just doesn't fill these days. So what I like to say is even if I ate "perfectly" I would still need MORE nutrition.

Deconstructed Vietnamese spring roll kase naubos na ang rice wrapper. And also, even if there's still some left, it can't be prepared beforehand din. It becomes so chewy na. The rolls are best eaten right after its done talaga.

Incredibly #latedinner ....was at work till 8pm..had to help a colleague out.......but ended up in me getting a free drink out of it so:))) Gotta pack now to go back to Uni..woohooo ...at least I had this #leftover of bulgar wheat with butter beans and veggies ready!!
No one should put up with the bitterness of kale just because you know it's nutritious and in the name of health think you need to come to terms, or worse, avoid it all together.
The trick is to boil it before throwing it on the stove top and sautéing with your favorite cooking oil and spices like @balancedbites. I promise, kale can actually be made tasty and when cooked is easier on your stomach. #winwin#SophiasSurvivalFoodTips
Lunch: Dal (split yellow lentil) mixed with sautéed onions, tomatoes and garlic, seasoned with turmeric, curry, cumin, cayenne pepper and salt. Served with lemony shredded cabbage, grilled veggies and brown rice.
SIDE NOTE: I could eat Dal every day. The sautéed veggies along with the seasoning makes these Indian lentils so delicious 😋. NUTRITION TIP:
To consume more veggies:
1. Use sautéed or grilled onions, tomatoes and garlic to add flavor to soups, legumes, sandwiches, pastas and even potatoes.
2. Make sure to put food over a bed of shredded lettuce, kale and/or spinach.

Today I'm challenging myself to a day of fully raw foods - I was a fully raw vegan for six months and stopped however I've always had the instinct to do it again. So today I'm challenging myself to one day. Sounds easy right. We shall see about that.
My breakfast however was a super delicious smoothie; 1/4 cup raw cashews, 1 tbsp hemp seeds, 1 frozen banana, 1 cup frozen blueberries, 1 tsp maca powder and 1 cup water. I also topped mine with a few extra blueberries and hemp seeds.

My onions got a lil over cooked but this was still delicious! I made an almond & flax crust, filled it with a cashew & basil pesto & topped it with beets, tomatoes, asparagus & red onion. 40 minutes in the oven & it was perfection (well, except the onion 😂).
PIZZA! So excited to be back in tiger town!! My favorite place to get pizza is @yourpieclemson in Clemson. I can choose my crust and toppings so I get the exact pizza I'm craving at the moment. It doesn't get much better than that ☺️
Dinner: cooked to perfection 👌🏻wheat crust pizza topped with basil pesto, spinach, sundries tomatoes, fresh basil, feta cheese and chicken.

A close up of one of my favourites!! Swiss cheese bunless burger. I sautéed some portobello mushrooms and added some gravy (4carbs per serving) and put ontop of my left over BBQ burgers from last night with a piece of Swiss cheese. So yummy!! (I ate 2 😋) my son had the same as me but his was on a bun. He also had some apple slices and almonds. My daughter had sweet potatoe banana n peach combo with apple slices and a few ritz crackers. Both my kids had yogurt for dessert. We never all eat the same meal, but I try to serve some of the same to everyone.
